Marc Emery Surrenders, To Face Extradition to US

Today Marc Emery will surrender, and be taken into custody by Canadian authorities to await extradition to the US on charges he exported cannabis (in the form of seeds) to growers in the USA.

Marc is taking the rap so his co-defendants can get off with probation. He's expected to be sentenced to five years as part of his plea bargain. It's hoped he can serve his time in a Canadian prison, and not in the US.

I bet they ignore the plea bargain and give him life sentence.

5 years seems pretty low, compared to how the people with sticks up there ass act. I'd say he gets off easy as i think I just read someone getting 20 years for 20 plants in VT

They can't get us all. For every Marc Emery they blackmail into a US prison, 100 more will start up. There is no shortage of Canadian cannabis and cannabis seed flowing over the border each day. God speed Marc, and I hope you can get some decent dank in those US prisons!!

Ridiculous anybody gets jail for MJ, but 5 years for a multimillion dollar business, seems like a walk in the park to me.

Marc Emery is a blow hard big mouth. I can't seem to muster up much sympathy for him.

He robbed from the poor to give to himself.
