I agree 100% (the ISS in my name stands for Island Sweet Skunk). I've been a professional Cash Cropper since '98 and the ISS is the best combination of quality, yield, and flowering speed I have ever found out of over 50 strains that I have tried. In fact, I would put my ISS mother (the Sativa Pheno that smells like citrus) against any "connoisseur" strain on the market today in terms of potency - she puts my Satori (Mandala) and NL#5 x Haze (Sensi) to shame. She also produces at least 2 pounds for every 1000 watt light (600g/m2). Even though other seed companies advertise yields above 600g, the ISS can match even the heaviest producers if grown properly. I've found 3 different phenos of the ISS, 2 Sativas and 1 Indica. The sativa phenos are the best yielders, but the Indica pheno is 1-2 weeks faster and has calyxes the size of corn kernels. All 3 Phenos are incredibly dank, but the Citrus/Sativa Pheno is definitely my favorite flavor. The other Sativa Pheno has a "Rotten Fruit" scent and the Indica Pheno smells like Pine (similar to Romulan). The best place to get ISS seeds is from Greenlife Seeds (Next Generation). Good Luck Bro!

Haha, isnt it obvious? MEEEE! Anyways, sorry to offend anybody. I have grown Nirvana's white rhino before and it was so so. Really dense and heavy though. $100 is a small price to pay on something that can potentially make you thousands. I think thats where a lot of these over priced breeders get there business is by people looking to make a profit in the long run and not just grow for themselves. I feel I was misunderstood in the beginning and sorry for the negativity. I would just be pretty upset if somebody took one of my strains that I worked on for a long time and then made seeds with it and sold them for 4 times less. Seeds arent exactly legal everywhere so of course you gotta charge for them. Nirvana doesnt have expansive breeding facilities so they can undercut the price quite a bit, but someone like soma, who probably runs 100s of lights and has a lot of costs cant afford to do that. Just some food for thought.

I havent read anything on nirvana in about 5 years so I am going to do a little more research on them. Maybe things have changed. I have seen pictures of soma's facilities and some other breeders facilities and they are massive. Not anymore though because of restraints on growing in the netherlands.

Ask ANY breeder on this site about Nirvana...Hell, half the breeders have used Nirvana seeds in THEIR crosses, and then charge more than Nirvana. So thats ok? MANY MANY gems have been found in their genetics, and your griping about them doing the same shit every other company does. Talking all your nor cal shit, you know how many of those strains are shit? I have grown out the best yall got....and I choose to just plant seeds instead. I dont bother with Cali clones. Tired, mutated and diseased mostly, no thanks, Ill pop beans and make my own strains. You guys think anything Kush is the best in the world, and have no idea what you are really talking about. News flash...OG Kush isnt even a real Kush!
Give me some examples. How many Nirvana strains have YOU grown out. Just the Rhino? What is Nirvana doing that Rez, or Greenhouse or almost EVRY other seed bank is doing?
The Norcal snobbery is disgusting. Half the Cali guys talking shit barely even grow. The big guys in Cali KNOW it doesnt matter where you live. DANK is done by growers, not regions. How much of your cali weed do you think actually came from there?

Going and doing some research is what you should have done in the first place, then you might not have ruffled so many feathers. I for one get HIGHLY pissed when someone comes on the peoples site that makes all this possible then bash em.

Whiskey Tango,EXCELLENT post..couldn't have said it better..Iv grown only one strain from Nirvana..AK48..overall they were excellent genetics,100% female,100% germ rate..sure they werent the most stable genetics,but thats kinda the fun in growing..growing and smoking diffrent phenotypes..my ak48 smelled like fruity loops cereal during growth,then dried and cured to a VERY heavy sour sweet ORANGE..very strong and sour smell..potent sativa high..not the most potent Iv smoked..anyways,my point is,there are DEF some killer gems to be found in Nirvana,especially some of there more popular varieties..Iv heard LOTS of growers say there "cheap" nirvana "knockoffs" outperformed the more epxensive strains..
Iv smoked Nirvana Bubblicious,Aurora Indica,White Rhino,,Ak48,Afghani,Blue Mystic,Papaya and PPP..and they were all very nice ad potent in there own ways..some were very nice tasting and smelling..

Wow! Have you ever been to california? You can look at my other grows to see whats up. Just follow the links in my signature. I dont even know where to begin. I dont think any of our clone only strains are unstable, or mutated, or riddled with disease. Granddaddy is prone to bud rot because of its density. Blue dream is incredible. Ive never grown snobberry. Couldnt tell you about it. I do know 99.5 percent of weed in california was grown here. I dont buy weed though, only at times like this when the indoor is shut down and I am waiting for the outdoor to be done will I buy weed. Humboldt county alone supplies 25% of the countries marijuana.
And everybody know OG Kush isnt kush. However that isnt a cali strain now is it? It originally started as a little thing called Chem. OG is something like a paki landrace sativa, chem dawg, and something else. Im not sure though as OG Kush isnt even on my top 10 favorites list and has been played out for years therefore i dont really care about it. I know I have about 100 clone only strains at my disposal and not all of them are good, but a good percentage of them are great! With all the crosses and strains we develop, and shear volume of bud we produce, we are definitely the epicenter for pot in the world and have been since the 70's. Can you smoke a joint walking down the street in your city and not get hassled by a cop? I can! Ahhhh, the freedoms, progressiveness, and shear beauty of only a 13.5% inhabited california. You cant beat it!
