FLying OUT OF THE US you are Golden bro. Any country you enter knows you just left the USA when you show them that blue passport. Look around at the people gettiing questioned with their weird colored passports. They assume you had a cavity check leaving the country.
Coming INTO THE US i wouldn't bring anything back. I had customs detain me once and they told me i wasn't in the United States yet even though i was in Philly Airport in Customs. Yeah, they can deny you entry or charge you with federal crimes. They probably won't though unless you are doing something crazy. They are really looking for bombs. There are only a few people with hard ons for drugs but if you put it in their face they have to do their job.
I'd tell you my method but i don't want anyone using it. thinkg about long and hard McGuyver and you will figure something out that works.
Have it hidden right in front of their eyes. If they can't see it (recognize it) or smell it, they can't find it.
you can always use my patented shampoo bottle up the tailpipe trick if you want but only if you are a medical patient, it is lawfull in your area, you aren't breaking any laws, and you don't mind shoving things up your poop shoot.

ive taken 1/4 before with me on my carryon it wasnt hard at all
made sure my luggage was very nicely organized, including socks!!!
bought brand new clean unused glass pipe put it inside some socks
bought new tube of toothpaste and took it out of the cardboard box, placed 1/4 in triple sealed baggie inside toothpaste box, glued it shut again threw toothpaste away that was something i could find when i got to my destination... but toothpaste box into my toiletries bag zipped that shut - was it risky yes, but i did it so thats my 2 cent
took some back with me too it was cake no problems either way
as far as international flights!! thats too risky they have dogs waaay to frequently for me to want to do that but domestic i think your a - ok

probably will use your advice cuz I jus found out that were not checking our bags. What kinda glue did you use?

for extra credit you could cut open the bottom end of the tube of toothpaste, insert your stash (make sure its airtight! i mean it or else it will not be pretty) into the paste in the tube, then refold the toothpaste with some pliars or something so it looks legit, put tube back into box and glue box
or keep the tube in the box and just insert stash around the tube and glue box shut; that way if someone did pick up your box of toothpaste for whatever reason it would at least feel like it had a tube of paste in there
up to you to make the call ultimately be aware of the risks you take before hand

Does no one use a vac sealer???? Easiest smell proof option IMHO..............Never and I repeat Never put it in your checked luggage..............Put that vac sealed package on your nuts and your fine. Have a good flight!
in CA if you have a valid prescription just keep it in you're bag with the script attached to it..... I have a friend who is a TSA screener and she says it happens a couple times a month...they call the police over and they verify you are you and send you on you're way with you're medication 
before I had my script I would either use UPS or Fed Ex next day air ( iused to work for UPS and trust me there is no way they can check every package that is going next day air just be sure to make it smell proof if you can)
also its risky but one time going to mexico I taped a 1/2oz to the inside of my thigh right under my sack and made my g/f tape 1/4 under each breast.... risky yes! but I lived to tell about it!

i smuggled seeds through domestic. pretty easy, just package it in your carry on. inside something else. as for weed, ive never tried or considered it. my friend took a domestic flight recently but landed in an international airport. aparently theres some sort of machine that they lock you into and it sucks out all the air in the chamber or something. ive never heard of it but if they are sucking air and checking it then they will prolly find anything you have on you. theres also these full body scanners like total recall. plus they have the swab machines that they test your luggage with. i would just mail it, or if you do have to take it in your luggage be smart about it. dont they teach you all anything in school at science class? wrapping weed in plastic? oh my fucking jesus, you all must be part leprechaun. plastic is permeable. dont you know what that means? air can go through its pores. use glass its non permeable. take some POTpourri and mix your herbs in with it, seal it back up put some ribbons on it or some shit. dont touch the jar with bare hands while doing this, wash it with bleach soap water, swab with alcohol and then pack it in your bags.
Vacum sealers work but it depends on how much you plan on smugglen. I no that if you have a cedarwooden box with no more than an once or two that it work. Dogs cant smell it and if you ever get the opertunity to see there scanners you cant see weed in it from those xray machines. I would still advice to put coffee bean or somthing in there with it.

If you have a wife that is down like mine there is no worries!! We can tight roll a half O triple bag it and into a condom and up the VA JAY JAY!!!! for short trips!

If bringing it back from the dam enter and ext the country from germany. Having the dam on your passport looks shady from the start. my sis flew back from germany with 5 grams in her purse she didnt remeber it was there no problems at all. My mom snoochie pooed hers gross but it worked to.

didnt read whole thread sorry if anyone said this already. my friends brother has done this many times with success and says its a good way... unless theres dogs i guess.
get a pack of swishers or little cigars of the type, as careful and surgecal as possible remove plastic wrap (being able to put back on pack like it was never off), carefully remove individual plastic wrapping from each blunt(being able to put wrapper back around blunt), now you must be able to roll a PERFECT blunt, because you must just roll blunts and put them back in pack in their individual wrappings, then back in pack etc. ive seen his blunts, they look exactly like swishers when he rolls em. then just put em in your carry on i guess...
