@Elmanito and the Cretan sativa. All i can say is where did you get seeds?? and are you planning on making seeds of this strain? my family heritage is from the island of crete so i would be EXTREMELY interested in seeds of this strain. If you will have any please let me know. I'm into all things cretan :) I would love to get some seeds of this "heirloom" variety.

Well elmanito the plant on pic is from cut and its not the best sample of structure. From seed it was a tree like structure, not like you nepal, but simetrical branches from bottom to top, but i have in past some plants from mexico that were similar to your nepal. Whats the smell, taste? Frutty?

I got the seeds from a Dutch/Greek guy
Its a sativa they growing there for many years.Originally the genetics are from Red Lebanese & Highland Thailand. So you will have plants with clearly genes from the Highland Thai and you have plants with clearly Red Lebanese genes.
Flowering period is 12-14 weeks.
The Thai genes pheno i have inside in the greenhouse has a nice sweet woody fragrance.Plan is to cross it with my Parvati male. The Parvati male has a nice fragrance of oranges.

Some photos of plants in full flower (13 weeks). These one got more Red Lebanese genes.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=8544 I'm growing over 20 strains right now...my sativas are:malawi, vortex, jack's cleaner2, cindy, blue dream, trainwreck, spacebomb, astro queen...I'm waiting on kali most and macVsog(nha trang/hmong thai(lao). my super sativa project is called 'stargate'. it's about making 3 way hybrids with super low cbd, and bizarre cannabinoid profiles. the vortex and jack's cleaner 2 really kick ass!

What an Awesome Thread !

What an Awesome Thread !

As an ancient toker (started in the mid 60's) this thread is like a breath of fresh air.
It does my heart good to see there are those who wish to preserve those pure sativas that I once enjoyed so much. ( I still toke of course) I grow some haze and african. They are good, but those clear, trippy, energetic highs of the gold strains from colombia and mexico as well as those amazing ganga's from jamica ...... I suppose a lot of them are already lost forever.
Like most every other grower, i have polouted those fine genitics over the years. I have always tried to keep the sativa high while trying to get smaller plants that would finish faster, and flourish in an indoor hydro environment.
I am going on a bean expidetion this winter through the carribean as well as colombia, panama, belize, costa rica, and mexico.
I have finally learned over the years that to keep what I love about sativas to adjust my indoor environment to fit them rather than trying to breed them for the enviroment.
I recently aqqired about 50 panamanian puntas rojos beans from a dear friend. I will be cracking a few of them within the next couple of weeks.
If anyone know of sources of other pure strains that are avaliable i would love to find as many of the good classics as I can.
God love all of you who who contributed here!

when I was a kid, I had my ass handed to me by the old school sativas....like the santa marta 'brickweed'...it took me 3 hrs. to crawl home- 5 blocks! or the thai weed at that party that had me cringing in the bushes when the party got busted...they missed me; but there was a group of thai traditional musicians in my head! "schhhwwwwiiiinggggg-zaangg...ching chiddling ching ching!" the acapulco gold sent us to cartoonland. I want to make an absolutely devastating set of strains using the old world and modern super sativas.I'm looking to come up with some screaming-psychedelic outta' control weed that requires a government warning label.
