vick has done his time and lost 130 million. I don't feel he's very sorry for dog fighting, but more because he has messed up his career and lost all his money.
I woulda liked to have seen him suspended this whole year from the NFL but they obviously think he deserves a 2nd chance now. I feel he'll do well and play his best. If he gets hurt or turns out he cant perform anymore, then that's his 'karma'...
Just remember everyone is brought up different. Not everyone is around loving people, in loving neighborhoods.. praising dogs like a lot of people do. He was seeing dog fighting at a young age, in bad neighborhoods that he grew up in.
Just like with marijuana, some people start growing and a lot tend to think it's okay and you wont get in trouble because it becomes 'normal' after so long; especially if you were brought up in it or around it at a young age. However, a lot of people would frown upon what we do...
Vick obviously felt what he was doing wasn't horrible at the time, because he did it for 6 years. Some of us arent as sensitive to dogs, feelings, emotions etc. as well as others. He was humbled and he wants a second chance. He deserves it, imo.

Yeah, what it is to be Famous and have $$$.. Denying this man another chance to make a living at the career he's dedicated most of his life to serves no good for anyone, save those consumed with malice and the sick pleasure they get from watching others suffer and fail. For all anyone knows, he could take those millions and do wondrous things for local animal shelters and rescue organizations. Not saying he will, but at least we have the opportunity to find out now.

I think that sentance describes those involved in dog or any other animal fighting quite well.
Dont see how somebody who wishes Vick ill is a hypocrite to be honest, maybe you would have to see first hand what the looser in a dog fight looks and sounds like to understand that.
