That male is so tight that it looks like a female at first and second glance. Great work...
How is that incross #3 you had lined up between the Bubba and the Grindhouse?
Did I overlook her?

The 3 plants you mentioned are getting close now. I will have to take a second look and see if those are out of veg. I transplanted so many plants lately, I lost track of those for the moment.

If memory is correct, I believe the Bubba is a female, and the GH Sour Bub, and #3 incross Sour Bub are males, but I will take a look in the morning to confirm. I need the male pollen, so it would be cool if the GH SB is male to give me some genetic diversity, it being a BX1 incross. I'll hit up a few of my Sour Bub's with that one for sure. I still have at least another pack of GH Sour Bub to crack yet.

I'll take some pic's in the morning when I pull the plants out.

BOG beans for 'IC 4/20 Seed Auction Fundraiser!'

BOG beans for 'IC 4/20 Seed Auction Fundraiser!'

If anybody is willing, a BOG bean donation for the
'IC 4/20 Seed Auction Fundraiser!' could bring a windfall for IC.

I agree ogd. IC Mag has been kind enough to provide the bandwidth for us to use, and I think it's only fair that they will be receiving BPP Sour Bubble for their server auctions.

The price that Sour Bubble will go for makes me want to be very careful and ensure the buyers are getting what they are paying for, so that is why the seeds are being tested first. You are seeing the mothers right now, and I really like the way they have grown, so seeds from these will be donated. The lots will be germ tested, and every seed will be inspected and pinch tested by me before being shipped.

One thing I have noticed from many years of purchasing seeds is that even from some of the best breeders around, I usually get only 1-3 really good keepers from a 10 pack of seeds, after you weed out the males, and if any runts or freaks show up. That is why I will release these in 20 packs for the server auction.

My goal will be to ensure the buyer has the chance to find some good keepers, and will be able to preserve these and keep them around for a while if they choose to.

Thanks Care Free. I appreciate your thread (subscribed) and your
work. The plants look sweet. I'm sure they'll be out of my range when the get to the 4/20 fund.

I was thinking of the current BOG beans that are in some cally dispensaries.
Would somebody out there or a dispensary donate some current BOG efforts?

They'd be out a my range too but big for IC and a boost for the dispensary.
Surely the cannabis world will improve by getting some BOG beans over to IC.

1.Never made it to harborside to check the BX of their SB seeds, but should be going soon and I will eventually state there findings here.

2. onegreenday are you asking for free BOG gear?!? Or just asking for them to be put up for auction? Regardless I am no hoarded, but I would never let my precious beans go. And as much as I want to help out this site because it does so much good, I would think the seeds would have to be shipped out of state meaning federal time and a felony on record, sorry I'm just not that nice. Although care free seems to be the rest of the worlds savior.

go care free go care free GO!

oh and its Cali not cally. norte califas for those that know.

Instate is Federal also.....

thanks for the up
on the name. I like that cali norte califas
(has a ring to it- gotta
get there again some time, I was in Truckee,
Reno, Tahoe & Doyle 1 time for a week)

A dispensary or person could purchase current BOG beans
and donate them to IC 4/20 fund

(anonymous if desired) and the current BOG offerings
would find gardens outside Cali (perhaps around the world in fact)
and bring big $$$ for the website.

I'm not looking for seeds.
The seeds find me.

One thing you guys have to know is that I am 100% legal in the things that I do according to our state law. I am just part of a much bigger picture, and protection measures are in place for all activities. I am the only member in my area that goes public on this, or any web site, and that is because I keep it legal in my state.

I personally will not be sending seeds across state lines, as there are others that might be willing. My job is just to preserve genetics and create seeds, and keep my numbers within the limits prescribed by my doctor. This is very easy to do.

Hey dwtc;

Good to see you're hanging in there.

I have not heard from Southwind yet, and I am concerned. I hope he is lurking around watching, but no response yet.

The Sour Bubbles are about as good as I could expect, and even though the latest ones are seeded, it looks like they will weigh in at well over 4 oz's per plant easy in 5 gallon pots. Since they are just for seed, I did not go for the 15 gallon pots, which would greatly increase yield. The buds are rock hard and very frosty though, and smell incredible. They get watered 1-2 times a day, which tells me they could use the extra root space.

This winter indoors I will give them the royal treatment and see what they can do without being seeded. The current ones look full of seeds, so it's just a matter of time before I should have enough seeds to set me up for life. And that is just the beginning of things to come, as long as things stay on track. Never know what life can throw at you though.

Take care dwtc, and stay safe yourself.
I'll be in touch with you shortly.

Hey OD,

I found those 3 plants you were talking about.

My Sour Bubble incross #3 did turn out to be a male.

Here is GH Sour Bubble BX1 IX1 that was a male also. I have some of my Sour Bubble incrosses that will be touched by this BX1 plant.

The Bubba Kush was a female. This will be pollenated with Sour Bubble #3 for sure.

Here are some more new plants.

My Sour Bubble incross #14 male.

Here is a Cindy99 female that will get pollenated by Sour Bubble #14 and #3. Sour Cindy.

Here is a Cindy99 x Deep Chunk female that will also be hit up by the same 2 Sour Bubble males. Sour Power.

Let me tell you HIGHRIDER something that most people dont know. I had an extensive collection of BOG seeds. Probably more than anyone else except BOG himself. I am talking 6 years worth of breeding and working BOG strains with many 1000's of seeds from most of his stuff, including an extensive inventory of Sour Bubble.

All that work went down the drain when one of my team members had a change in thinking, and the whole lot was scrapped. Probably $100,000 worth of seeds went in the bin without me knowing about it, and it was to late to recover anything.

Thanks to Southwind, this is sort of a rebirth for me, and it will take many years to get back to the level I once was at, if that is even possible. I am hoping to obtain some of BOG's originals to further advance this process, so it might just take several years just to get to a place where I feel good about things again.

Where will I be in 10 years? If I am still alive, I would hope to have accomplished all my goals in life. One is to refine all my work with Sour Bubble, since it is my favorite plant (looking for consistancy), and another is to draw nearer to God, since I believe we cannot neglect our spiritual part of life. We must care for the mind, body and spirit ya know.

And yes, cannabis prohibition needs to be ended, because of the medicinal qualities that make quality of life better for those who suffer.

Hi headband;

Welcome to IC Mag

Sour Bubble is a very special plant, and if you ever get a chance to sample it, you will know why I will keep it around for the rest of my life.

For one thing, it is a low yielder per plant, but with the right technique you can pull a kilo of top quality rock hard stash from a 1kw light, that will relieve pain, make you very comfortable, and allow you to think about things in a different light. The best of everything I like about weed.

It makes great hash, and the cannabutter will have you very well medicated. Most all phenos taste great and are extremely potent.

If I was to talk about some of the negatives, I would say they are very difficult to germinate, and are rather slow during the seedling stage, but after the first transplant, they take off and do very well. I usually get 1-3 great keeper females from every 10 seeds, just like most everything else out there.

I am trying right now to breed Sour Bubble plants that are branchy, and trying to eliminate bean pole plants and runts from showing up. Plants with lots of side branching allow many clones to be taken in a short period of time, thus increased overall yeild from a pack of seeds. The goal would be to get 30 good clones from a pack of seeds and pull near a kilo every flowering sequence under a 1kw lamp.

I have to say that I also feel that to be complete as humans, we need to be in touch with our God, and pass on the good to our fellow peoples, and the world around us.

I am currently smoking 4 SBBX4 plants that are now nicely cured. These are from the incross that grapepunched did with a pack of BX4.
I too feel they are low yield plants, and I stated so in my grow report...but I have to say that I may have to bring a bit of it back. These buds are rock hard and dense. The buds are very resiny which makes for a slow smoke. These buds are lasting better than what many other strains do it seems.

A rich candy aroma was apparent at first of cure, that has settled into a more sweet funk smell. I have a hard time busting up buds..."scissor dope" as my pal calls it.

I had told gp that I wasn't planning on keeping any of these gurls, but I lied. :)
I have the reveg's (one dint take) and I will be keeping one, and a worthy bro is going to inherit the others.

SB is one of the most impressive smokes a person can produce a bag of...
What I mean is, before you even whip it out, anyone in the area can smell it..even in a plastic tub.
When the lid is opened, your company will simply be flabergasted. It's the sort of buds that folks always hope for a chance to sample. The bud makes you want to put your face in it immediately and take a big huff, which most do.
And to top it off, it stones the holy schmokes out of any that partake of it.

Good stuff.

Very well said hoosier.

Most folks do not ever see the quality of stash that Sour Bubble is, and needless to say that after they sample it, the expression on their faces says it all. No words necessary!!!

BOG hit a home run with Sour Bubble, and I look forward to finding some of his new stuff also, ie. Sour Saver, Blue Kush. It's just a matter of time now.

Meanwhile, I'll have to be satisfied with Sour Bubble as my main project, and a very good project it is. These plants have a tremendous value, with BOG isolating his work to just California right now. But these are really not being produced for profit, just pleasure.

You California peep's, get your butts down to the nearest med club and pick up a pack or 3 of BOG's work while you can.
