You don't subtract from 30. You add from 25.
25+3+2=30
Thank you JJ

I won't do either!! I'm union
So, because each person got $1 change, they each paid $9.
It was ok until you made this incorrect statement. If it was $25 and they got $3 back, then that equals $28. Divide that by 3 and you get $9.33 not $9. Where did the .33 go?
~Abbie
it was $30 and they got $3 back = 27
Plus the $2 that the bellboy kept = 29
started out with 30 they got 3 and bellboy got 2 ... but they paid $9 each
wait what ....?
Its a trick question cause everyone knows bellboys dont give back jack nothing.
Nope
It was 25 and they got 3 back = 28
Plus bellboy kept 2 = 30
He gives each of the patrons $1 and keeps the change. He kept the change....the buck stops here.
No ... you are not understanding ... it was 25 BECAUSE they got 3 back and the bellboy kept 2
it was 30 and they got back 3 and the bellboy kept 2
nice try though ...
That's a Lincoln eH?the manager gave him a 5 dollar bill ... he gave each of the patrons 1 ... and kept the change ... 2
next
U guys ar getting confused with the wording. The hotel has 25 the three guys all got 1 back and the bellboy got 2. 25+3+2=30. The hotel didn't get 27.
