only to be horrified to find...

I really don't know what the fuck happened. I hadn't seen anything on the rock/soil surface until today when I saw those, and I had looked at this plant yesterday! I carefully removed all of the mushrooms, along with the top layer of rocks. The soil seems to be whiteish...

Is my plant fucked or any recourse I can do?

All my plants are in miracle grow. This plant and one other Lavender had a layer of rocks on top of the soil too, the mushrooms were growing to the rocks.

I did spray the top soil with Sevin spray before I left...didn't really know if it would do anything haha.

Nothing to worry about. the mushroom mycellium (white stuff on soil) is just breaking down some nutrients in the soil mix. All healthy soils have tons of fungi of one type or another and the vast majority are beneficial.

Between the Mushroom, Miracle gro and Sevin the mushroom is the best thing for your plants....go organic Huey!

Normally I'd spray with Neem oil, but I've been having a hard time with caterpillars on my plants, so I needed to try something else(I had already tried Neem oil, Insecticidial soap, and handpicking...).

The soil...ya, not the best at all haha. This is my first grow and my dad has been using MG soil for the last couple years for his, so thats why I used it (although since the beginning, I've learned a shitload from this site). I plan on next year using better soil, not positive yet if I'll be organic, but that will most likely be my goal.

I thought you were using Miracle Grow nutrients, sorry. The mushroom present in the soil actually adds so much more to the root structure. Pro-mix sells a mix inoculated with mushroom but it's not considered organic because of it's wetting agent. I suggest not to panic-things tend to screw up when adding to much more. I'm not sure if Sevin is good for the roots...Cheers!
