Thanks unthing, yep-just the jumbo-I've been in contact with Douglas from prosource, after I bought the infrared 90w ufo.He straight up traded me the 90w Flower Accellerator for the Jumbo, as long as I presented a complete grow journal-using the 180 watt Jumbo as the sole source of light in a 4x4 tent. These guys are serious about spreading the word on this new 5 band tek.I was floored by the offer, as well as the prospect of future projects- that would be nice. All signs indicate this is the real deal, and I'm bouncing off the walls waiting for this unit to get here! I'm going to be having a hell of a sale on my old gear!

Nice, everything going smooth here it seems! A friend of mine found some seller who could sell them cheap so now we're about to get 90W LED's as well =) you asked about my cfl setup I found a couple of pics and uploaded them to my album..this one from around week 6 flowering i think.. another one here, an early version photo with the backplate open..I later shuffled the fans around and stuff, but you get the picture..grow space about the size of a pc server case and utility space on the other side..They are sitting in 4L underwatering pots filled with coco and some hydroclay, 125w CFL bulb. Or were, they're chopped now.

Umm anyways, how close do you think the lamp could be lowered without light burn? Or does it even damage the tops? In my CFL cab the bulb didnt damage the tallest buds visibly even if they were settled against it for like 6 hours..I'm wondering if you only raise it higher to get a wider area lit? I think I don't need to worry about that much since my bigger cab is only a bit wider than the UFO itself..

BF74 you magnificent bastard, this is where you've been hiding all the juiciest pics from the LED LAB thread :: pokes :: JK... But wow that looks good, definitely interested in that Jumbo.

If they're so confident to see you grow it in a 4x4 tent, then they must know this baby can handle it and they want photographic evidence out there. I work with 4x4 tents, so I'm glued to this one. I'm growing these THC Bombs from Marijuana Seeds of the Netherlands and they finally topped out at almost exactly 4'. Do you think the Jumbo could handle that? I'm thinking it could on yo-yo's if you started level.

As I've said in the LED LAB 2009 thread I was advising people to hold off on making a full switch over investment until next year, but the way you and Hollywood have your plants looking with 5 and his 6 band is making me seriously reconsider waiting.

I will be keeping my eyes glued and if your grow turns out like I'm projecting it from seeing what you have now, I think I'll be needing a couple of those in a few months once your final verdict is in.

And Hollywood I'm dying to know what that sixth band your friend used is... if I had to venture a guess I'm thinking UV-B. Whatever it's those things have pistils make-shifting into colas, makes my mouth water just looking at all those fine THC laden hairs.

Keep up the good work people!

Very-VERY cool my friend-cfls-I always went 2 fingers away from the tops-about 2 inches.I love micro-cabs, ingenuity rules here, and you've got that goin on.The ufo you dont want too close, not quite on top of your canopy-you'll notice a weird form of stress on your plants some folks are referring to as photon oversaturation.Keep me posted-I'm very interested in this one.Peace
