Apparently the Dixie Elixurs are one of the best drinks, just one gives you a nice high

I haven't had the drink that you mentioned, the haps 360, but that could be because I'm in Colorado. I have had both the pharmacy drinks and dixie sodas. The famacy drinks are supposed to have 3g of "medicine" in it, meaning glycerin tincture. I have found the farmacy drinks not that tasty or potent, and they run about $15 each out here.

Dixie drinks/sodas taste a LOT better and they are supposed to have 4g of "medicine" in it. Also made with tincture, dixie is a Colorado company, where farmacy is a California company, from what my friend told me who has a dispansary in Littleton.

I'm upset to hear that NC brushed aside the whole MMJ thing, but it was to be expected in the bible belt south. I did like how the bill was written though, 100 sq ft of canopy space for your own private garden is the best way to go about it I think. Alabama is about to pass MMJ there, and I feel that will really open up the southern states to pass MMJ legislation. We've got to keep doing what we do right?

The sodas/drinks could be made stronger by using heat while making the tincture/glycerin before adding it to the soda, as the temps do need to raise above 180F or so to really activate all the good stuff in the plant material to transfer to the glycerin. The drinks are still in the infancy stage, I'm sure they will get better as time goes on, and 10 is pretty reasonable for a medicated drink.

Getting edibles at dispansaries is always an iffy proposition, as most of them aren't very potent at all. I can understand why though. I make hard candies and for a while I was making huge lollipops and TOLD my patients to only eat 1/4 of the sucker, specificlt because they were very potent. I recently came to find out that several people ate the whole thing and got way too high and it freaked them out. I've been making my lollipops significantly smaller because people can't seem to listen or control themselves with edibles. I use BHO to make my lollipops and since the sugars need to heat up to 302F, that activates all the good stuff in the BHO and you end up with potent candies. Heat is they key, not necessarily fats.. although I have found that edibles using high ratios of sugars AND fats are the most potent.

From my own personal experience , butter is the best form for creating any edibles that of course "require" butter to be added to the recipe. Example: any sugar cookie recipe can be made using cannabutter , but to lighten the strong flavor of the cannabutter i add a table spoon of vannila extract to mix. Virtually any recipe that i have tried that require's butter is Great. The only thing to keep in mind is : cooking over 350 degrees for any period of time can destroy the THC and Cannabinoid content. So I have read.

My partner and I are working to open the United States FIRST cannabis restaurant/cafe. Unfortunately, in order to do this all the way...California would have to pass the legalization of marijuana act this coming November. I am not sure I want it to be legalized across the board!!

I have had the idea of making a cannabis oriented restaurant forever! Glad to see someone else working on it haha. I think people would be down to eat foods that are cannabis infused - especially after a long day at work ;)

Canna soda is delicious, I've been getting Kushtown brand. Some are claiming 800x strength, I don't know about that. I drank the whole thing and it was well worth the $15, I have a high tolerance though. I'd have to say that the effects are slightly different that edibles in the way that the soda's don't couchlock me like brownies/cookies do, must be something to do with the cooking process. I'd love to have a good recipe to make my own.

lots of pricey stuff and mediocre weed..

they have been sitting around the house ever since
i can't seem te get excited about drinking a $10+ soda that uses high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener
