very great posts,
making me rethink a couple of things
going to be hittin the old search button and see whats up with more supercropping techniques
i got a couple questions for you
you spray your roots and that drips down into the indivual resivoirs which each have 2
4'' airstones and are circulating amongst each other?? that seems awsome to me i need to do this

i really like your recirc setup, your using a nice big waterpump with a smaller hose 3/4 to feed and then a larger 1.5 gravity driven drain
do you drain back to your resivor using a waterfall?

digging the floor drain, wish i had one of them
i do have a sink in my room though just no drain... yes strange i know

anyway sweet setup

Hi just wanted to say I appreciate you posting your grow, I also live in Michigan and have my medical card. Currently designing my basement grow w/ebb n flo 18 bucket system. I am curious on how you vent and cool lights and if you had any problems with how you set yours up. I've got a 465 cfm fan, 2 1000 air cooled lights and was going to set up my system like yours..but was going to bring in air from outside, then filter, then lights, and then fan and exhaust upstairs into my living room.

We also provide an opportunity for caregivers to sponsor patients without ever needing to handle plants or products. Caregivers and patients enter into contract with M.O.P.M.M. allowing us to be the sole care provider for our patients to ensure they get treated with respect and get the product that is right for their ailments.

I'm wondering how you can contract w/ a caregiver so they have no contact with the plants? I can see how the patient would do it, but why the caregiver? How does this work, does this allow you to then be the grower for the caregiver, and does this allow you to have more than 70 plants on your property? Just wondering how you set this up, are you like a coop or collective? I'd just like more info, because I've got room to grow for more than myself, and would like to have more opportunities to help others myself.

Well long time no see!

Well long time no see!

Sorry I haven't been posting guys I have had a lot on my plate and have been too busy to do more than lurk a bit and help here or there. But I am still here and doing well on run #5 of Sweet Purple in the ever evolving 3x3 6 bucket RDWC SCROG. I am on the final run to decide the mother of production strain #1 and It looks like Layla will be the winner. I have discontinued all white satin as it was prone to mold issues and extremely leafy although great smoke. I am ordering parts now to add 6 more plants and another 1kw of light. I have changed to Hortilux EYE Superblue HPS and the girls are loving it. Spendy bulbs but seems to be a 20%+ in production at day 30. I am toying with ditching the scrog for the first run with 12 plants and just see what the yield is compared. I did finally put a mover in the room. AgraMover was the brand name I bought it off ebay and it has been the best light mover ever, runs smooth and quiet, no issues and CHEAP! Can't find the company anywhere though so I figure probably some guy builds em in his basement LOL. Well enough BS for now its time for pics!

Product Line #1 Sweet Purple

Yes it smokes as good as it looks

Day #30

Fluffy thanks for stopping in. You are best to use a hepa filter for outside air coming into your grow. It will save you on bugs, spores and other bad things. I run my setup like this
FILTER===>>>FAN===>>>LIGHT===>>>LIGHT===>>>LIGHT===>>>LIVING ROOM via a standard floor register. Send me a PM and we'll catch up on the patient/caregiver stuff and local Michigan whatnot.

Red thanks for stopping in. Glad to know you've been with me on this ride.

Ragnorock 1. F*****g INSANE DUDE!!!
2. Sorry man pimpin ain't easy and that room is full of ladies that earn. What do you got for daddy?

BigScoot always a pleasure to have you in for the show man. Life is good here in the basement. The sun is bright, the plants are green and every 8 weeks I get a happy harvest.

Next run will be the run for the money with all plants of the best yielding highest potency phenotype, Layla. In a 3x3 scrog 6 plants should bring down around 1# But we'll see how it goes.

In the meantime it is back to planning the expansion to 2kw air cooled on a light mover over 12 plants in a 3x6 area. I was thinking ahead when I bought my eclipse inline fan and got the one that moves 560cfm. This fan should be plenty to pull the carbon filter and exhaust all 3 HID lights in the garden.

The next big step will be a 3x6' table under another 2kw. From what I can figure with the amperage loads involved 4400w of HID is all my electric will support in my location. I have the electrical sub panel built and just need to hang it and connect it to the 40 amp breaker on the main panel. I will start use of the sub panel when I step up to 2kw to test it and then when funding permits I will expand to its full capabilities and really test the environment in the room.

We still aren't running AC or res chillers and temps stay optimal to a hair on the cool side. When we step up the wattage it will be interesting to see what needs to be tweaked.

In addition to the basement expansion I am working on several other designs for new systems and a master garden for MOPMM (40000w of lighting and a whole lot of love) so when we get some capital together it's game on.

I am sure I will be starting threads for all of the above in the near future so keep your eyes open.

Sweet, hopefully my test project goes smoothly then the next project is a bigger one like yours. Thank you for sharing!

GrwAero- Thanks for stopping in to see what's up. Test projects are super important. It's kind of like the scale model construction firms build before they build an office building. You just need to figure out all the angles from a small scale point of view before you shell out the $$$ for 10kw a month you know.

I'll try and put a quick update with the vegers and moms when I get home tonight the bad weather has been adding 3 hrs drive time a day for work yuck. Catch y'all later.

I think there are a lot of people out there with that sentiment. The Med MJ industry holds so much potential to help out so many people in the Midwest. It means jobs in new and rapidly expanding industry. Sounds like good recession corrective action to me!

Well Furrowed thanks for the kind words but this is hardly amazing compared to a lot of what others here have going on. It is only from their knowledge and experience that I was able to put this together successfully.

Luv from day 37

Luv from day 37

Ok guys I was lurking in the garden during lights off this morning to snag you some day 37 photos before work.

As you can see things are coming along great. The flowers are everywhere and all they need to do is swell up from now until day 56. You can see the difference in the 2 phenotypes between Lisa's lanky structure and bright magenta calyxes and Layla's deep violet dense nuggets. I really would love to get my hands on some white rhino pollen and try to breed magenta rhino out of Lisa. There is just something about the sound of giant pink nuggets that just screams Medicine you know.

Here some pictures from the veg room and the mothers. Please remember that when you see the mothers they are a year old and their main stems are about the diameter of a 50 cent piece. Both mothers were flowered in the original run that started this thread and have been reveged and living in stasis ever since. I have new mothers rooting right now to replace them and plan to flower them out in the next run just to see how they do on round 2 in flower.

so anyway that's what up in the basement. Pease feel free to comment and question if you have some.
