It's supposed to have white mold. Any other color is bad.

I'm halfway done filling my first bucket, and so far so good. I'm including animal fat from cooking, little scraps of meat, and I even put slices of turkey that were not quite bad but past their prime. So far so good!

I'm using wheat bran I inoculated with EM.

Yeah i think i left mine too long before i spread er out and dried her. Nevermind my compost bin and worms love me :D

Gonna go another run soon. Will use the bin liners this time. 4 days ya say. What temps would that be? Mine will only get warm in the evenings when the fires on. Its cold here most days at the mo.

It had some nice white mold going on and some rank blue stuff. But i left it like 2 weeks or more.

sounds like air got in there. I left mine over two weeks in a hot attic and it was fine. smelled like natto, beer and blue cheese while kneading dough.

Yeah the seal on my tubs isnt airtight. I think the bags inside the box for strength and ease of movement will work well.

Hey that bokashi sounds interesting issack :chin:

You mean he innoculates the bokashi with the shroom compost? I have plenty of neem oil. How much does he use do you know?

Cheers

I think he uses neem seed cake for the Spirulina and neem one.. with other things that i don't know.

The mushroom one is mulched shroom compost and it has an interesting smell.. when he comes over my place next ill ask what he uses.. I'm interested more too now that I'm using it.

nice clack. thanks.

So my first bucket is full, and I've ordered a second one. this one was slightly cheaper, and it looks from the picture like it comes with a free smoosher.

My question: can I empty my bokashi bucket just a little at a time to feed the worms?
