Some chick died on a radio show a few years back from drinking too much. hyponatremia- check it out.

I'd also agree that that may be a bit much and you should consult a doctor. I work out in the Florida sun all day in the summers and in 140 degree attics. I don't drink half that much and still have to urinate frequently, while sweating out three quarters of it.

Happened in Sacramento. She was doing it to win a WII for her kids.. She drank something like 4 gallons in a sitting. They said she looked prego when they kicked her out of the studio, she died shortly after. :yoinks:

In all seriousness now....

Water intoxication is a medical condition (also known as hyperhydration) in which an individual's intake of water is excessive. A person with two healthy kidneys can rid themselves of about 1.5 litres of water per hour at maximum filtration.

The main consequences of overconsumption are hyponatremia (decreased plasma sodium, due to dilution) and suppression of the production of antidiuretic hormone. Extreme hyponatremia (with plasma sodium levels less than 100 mmol/L) frequently leads to cerebral edema, seizures, coma, and death.

First, the body's sodium levels drop, due to the loss of electrolytes when sweating (sodium is an electrolyte). Next, the excess water is absorbed into the bloodstream and eventually the lungs, and the victim will suffer from dyspnea and nausea. If allowed to progress without treatment, the victim will develop pulmonary adema, or filling of the lungs with a bodily fluid, and will face more serious complications.

You should have some tests run bro :joint:

Yo, Frank, man (love you, bro) PLEEAAAZZ let this muthafucka in man...

Ever since I had my kidneystones (yes, they are THAT bad), I've been consuming LOTS of water.

Got to the point where I was too full, it's a weird feeling, but now I've found the moderation.

I don't drink ice water tho - I have a bad tooth, and too cold make my tooth scream.

Easily a dozen or more glasses a day (big glasses).

I thought I drank a lot of water and you drink more than I do. And I love ice water too.

I like to quote Dr Gonzo, the attorney from fear and loathing "Ice wuata wit ice" from when he is talking to the waiter.

I drink about 2 1/2 cases of spring water a weak. Spring water is the best, I think, it seems like it is absorbed much better in my mouth than the purified tap water in most major brands.

I would also suggest you go get checked out, that does seem like an excessive amount.

now I am not worldy by any means, but I thought in Denmark and some European countries, they serve water room temperature, with the thought being that the cold liquid, any cold liquid, is not good for your digestion system.

well that would be a way to get me to drink less....if i dont have tons of ice and freezing cold i cant drink it....i cant drink it right from the tap.

same w/ powerade...i cant even drink that out the fridge. i have to freeze it for a cpl hrs to make it really slushy....or else i gotta freeze it all night then let it thaw a bit until its slushy...i usually have a cple in the fridge ready to freeze and a cpl in the freezer ready to thaw.

i also have to put ice in my milk to get it cold enuff to drink

Are you constantly thirsty this whole time? or do you just like to drink it?

I guess I mean do you NEED/CRAVE/HOLYSHITIMTHIRSTY guzzle water or is it just something you enjoy doing. Because if it's the first one, you should probably do some blood sugar testing/possible diabetes.

Personally, I just think yer a freak who's addicted to cold shit!

it could be the latter cuz like i said if its just room temp i dont want it, and prolly wouldent drink much at all.

but if its cold i gotta have it.

even w/ my applejuice in the morning...i fill a big jug full of ice then apple juice then dump into the blender, and turn it into slush.... everyday

i also make huge icecream shakes everyday

He is in a hot place breathing dry air conditioned air 24-7.

AC dries you out. Stuff that grows in the vents play with your respiration.

I am constantly drinking something too. I have tried iced tea and I was a wreck with the cafine. Now I am driking lots of Dasani.

good point randude...i didnt consider the AC...and i avoid caffeine too.

and when im not in AC im in the HEAT
