I would say half of the hairs are orange by 42 days on the trainwreck. Ph lockout will definitely delay things. I think when you seed a plant it tends to take a little longer as well. I will say the buds on your trainwreck look much fatter than mine. I know some people take the trainwreck to 70 days but I tend to pull things a little earlier than other people. Plus like I said the thread I read from the guy that found trainwreck said he liked it best between 42-50 days. I am still doing some experimenting with harvest times on most of these strains since it is my first time running them.

Hey Core! I have the chem 4. I have only smoked the chem d, but the sample was from a very talented grower and it was great smoke, very flavorful, full on chem. We smoked so many different strains that day that I can't give an honest report as to the high but it didn't let me down that is for sure. Talking with those that have grown both, yield is similar, the chem 4 just slightly more. The d has more chem taste, where as the 4 has a lemon flavor to it. I think you will enjoy it very much. Be sure to give us a report brotha.

A little update tonight. Grape Ape got the chop at 60 days and Green Crack came down at 50.

Temps have been around 84-86 so I didn't get any color out of the Grape Ape but the next run should get super dark.

UBER21-thanks maing. Have you tried the green crack before? Such a sweet smoke and great high. Can't complain about such a fast finisher. I pulled the last one at 42 days and she smashes me in the face.

SirSmokalot-fucking summer sucks here. Plus my room is in the garage and the setup is not good enough to handle these temps. After this run is done on the 15th I can change things around as the flower room will be shut down for about 4 weeks.

She is a slow starter, just how she is. She never looks like she'll be done in 7 wks either and then bam just throws on the weight all at once. She is deceiving as well because the buds are smaller but dense as hell and hold a ton of weight. She will really bush out if you pinch her top. More tops the better on this girl. The stretch is average, nothing crazy. I got a little more stretch on the one I ran single cola.

UBER-anytime bro.

Peat-yep, same cut. She doesn't turn purple until the end anyway. The last one I grew started showing signs of purple at 52 days and finished at 58. At least she still has the taste and smell. As far as pruning undergrowth, I would say it probably depends on the flowering time. Strains that only go 6-7 wks I wouldn't prune after 3 but something that goes 8 or more I have pruned into the fourth and fifth week. I like to take a little at a time when the plant is in flower so it doesn't stress too much. So a couple branches every day or so. Once they hit about the halfway point, I leave them alone. Hope this helps.

oh boy i didnt know you were in garage... my last house room was in garage. i know all about that. 1 day my ac shut off and my room was like 110+ and all my plants had dried up and fried in a few hours.. worst day growing ever to date.... god i hate the desert heat. motivated to move everyday i go outside lol
