600w co2 scrog grow, help me dial it in ;)

Hey guys, thought I share some of my latest grow, it is just getting on its way.
I've been having major issues with my last grows due to outgassing etc. and I'm just now getting back on track, I hope lol.
I run a sealed room during lights on and I vent during lights off.
Originally my 4 clones were in pro-mix till about 8", but then I got my hydro-bug and well, I rinsed the roots and threw them in 100% perlite lol. We'll see how that goes.
I also got myself a light intensity meter and was a bit surprised to see that my light intensity (lumens per sq foot) is only 3000 at 24", does that sound right?
Here are some pics:

They look a bit over watered, but I'm going to push them through ;)
They also seem to be re-vegging for some reason?! I can only guess that since I had them on a 18/6 schedule while they were in soil, and then moved them to a 20/4 schedule once they went into hydro, that that may have triggered the 're-vegging', not sure though.
I'm not going to over think it lol, let's see what happens.

The co2 was turned on 2 days ago along with the AC and they have started to push hard since then. I'm a bit worried, since I will find out in the next week or so if I still have a 'out-gassing' problem due to the room being sealed. Send me some good Karma :)

I thought it was interesting how they went from 5 pronged leafs to 3 and then to 1. Now they have gone back to 3 leafs and I'm hopping I will see 5 and then 7 soon lol.

My ppm's are low (1450 at .7), but I may have to go lower, since they went quite a bit darker since I added the co2. It's kind a backwards to me, but consensus is that co2 enrichment requires a reduced nute load (more feedings though). It makes sense once I started to think about it lol.

BTW, a lot of people say that co2 is a waste during veg, but I do not agree. I think it bulks up the plant, increases leaf size dramatically and fills my screen way faster then without the co2, those are all good things in my book ;)
What I'm not so sure about is the HPS I'm using during veg, but since I'm scroging and I need them to fill the screen, I do not mind the added stretch from the HPS. What do you guys think?

Hey Kindman69 just having a look i'm liking your screen mate is it foldable?

How long you planning on vegging the girls for? I think you will fill that screen out no trouble at all

Good luck

I'm thinking another 1.5 to 2 weeks, I want them to fill the screen about 70% before I flip them.
The screen could be adjusted, have not thought about it though ;)

Peace,

So, I decided to clean the glass of my 600 hood, and now my light intensity meter reads 3500 lumen per sq foot. at 24". Seems low when I compare it to the charts that are floating around out there ?!
Lesson learned here is: wipe the freaking glass every so often, lol!

Well, I think I'm going to tackle the last adjustments under my screen today. I'm going to remove my outer pots due to the great potential of clogging the small drain hole they have. This can be a major disaster in a scrog. Instead I'm going to add a 3x3 tray into which the pots will drain, and from there I will use a single drain with a guard.

I also want to raise them a bit closer to the screen.

So I added the trays under the buckets. I also raised them up a view inches.
They are in the screen now :)
So far no sign of the outgassing:woohoo:
I'm also surprised that they took the re potting from soil so well, I never did 100% perlite.

Did a little bit of screen training for the first time. They are sucking up the nutes right now.

2 more days and the screen is filling in nicely. They look a bit dark, but my outside Aurora Indica is very dark herself ;) Nevertheless, I'll be watching it!

I added 2x 6" clip on fans for the canopy and redirected my 10" fan to the under the screen growth.

My temps are great during lights on 74-79, what bothers me a bit is that my lights off temps are close to the same if not a tat higher. I could seal the room during lights off and utilize my ac, but for now and as long as they are happy I won't fuck with it.

I think another week and then its 12/12 time. I might switch them to 18/6 from 20/4 in a view days.

My res is running at about 1.5 EC and dropping 1gal per day. My EC drops in the same time period by about .1
Res temp are 69 degrees

Watering: 60 sec on/ 4min. off

I thought I keep some updates going just to show how they explode when you add co2 into the mix ;)
