well WTF? how come it says there is a page 72 and 73 but i can't get past page 71? when i click on the next page it goes back to this same page...is it like that for everyone? T2U gets pissed when he misses out on RKS conversation!!

sounds like great news on the cut BG....hopefully its something we've been looking for aye...did you try the germ method i used when i got 8 out of 12 of those to germ? or a different method or were they totally different stock to begin with?

you can find the stink you are all looking for in SK#1 beans (it's not easy but it's there)...one would have better luck jumping into some ghani genes...you will find the funk

has anyone ever tried removing the whole seed shells from old seeds to try and get them to grow?

I've had sucess popping old seeds open with tweezers. I also read somewhere that chipping open old seeds works too.

i've been burning some nugs lately that are really really close to RKS....they came to me labeled chemdawg x headband! in the bag they are super stank and smell like a skunk...you can't bring none anywhere important thats forsure.

chemdawg and sour d...some of my two favorite strains...just about everything from my town comes with that stuff that gets peole asking around if they smell that skunk...and i just smile and nod my head

There is a very nice gentleman that is trying to preserve his '89 Skunk #1 line. While his is more Sweet but with a Skunky Undertone he is making crosses with older also pure Skunk #1 lines from other people. While it is my utmost hope that he gets his Sweet Skunk #1's that are an exact match to his '89 Skunk #1 line, I think he is going to get some "STINKY" phenotypes out of the different #1 crosses.

im starting to think that the real diesel strains are closest to rks. i bought the fem rks seeds from another site and they were so sickly sweet, not skunk at all. but my rez chemdd and soma nycd are total skunk smellin and hash tasting. not a hint of fruit at all. my skunk2 from 1992 is more piney with a bit of skunk smell.

Strange that rks is not in skunk #1, I have some Critical Mass <afghani x old school skunk> #1, I'm at about day 45 and one pheno I have is reeking the whole place like a road-kill skunk.

My second grow had some DP skunk1 beans from the mid-late 90s only got 2 and both popped both girls. One of them wasnt skunky really at all and looked alot different than the other more indica looking pheno. The indica looking pheno was RKS by my definition it really really had a smell and the taste even without proper cure was awesome. The pic below is of the first harvest I rejuvenated her and reflowered and got a decent second harvest as well. I grew her under only a 400 watt metal halide with a agriculture bulb. I wish I had known then what I know now about cloning and how easy it is.

ive been thinking about this a long time, and its broght me to where i thought i would never be haha

my best friend and i scored about an ounce each one year of the shunkiest rks ever known, i swear to god. it was reputidly grown on a farm hydroponically. the smell to this day boggles my senses. it was beyond skunk, like outer dimensional. and 1-2 draws and you were recked, and it left this amazing sticky skunk taste not on the lips or tongue so much as at the back of the throat. he called his daddy chron, cuz he stole it off his dad, and i called mine supersonic because it was. only got grams here and there after that. always sought this variety since i started growing. it grew biggest squatest neon green nuggets id ever encountered at that time. coated in trichs.

now a days, the closest thing i find is some kushes that almost match , but are too earthy. il bet that bcsc couchlock, ak or super kush might come close, any opinions. in holland, sensi skunk and orange bud(dp) are realy roadkill. so im gueiing there must be genetic lines to the og rdks tto these varities.

im so excited, got 4 to sprout of the orange bud and it reminds me exactly of my treasured supersonic from my youth, this is the pheno. only time will tell.
