How do you view cops?

I usually view cops through binoculars

Don't you mean a scope ;).

haha, I don't mind them. It all depends, they're everyday people, working their everyday jobs. They have a pretty shitty job though, fucking up peoples lives for minimalistic/illegitimate reasons.

It's nice to have 'lax cops, it all depends though. You get the really nice ones, and you get the grumps. and then you get the good cops/bad cops bullshit. Where they're really just fucks toying with your head.

But, in the reality of it; they're there to do a job, we're their to tell them how to do it. It's up to us as a whole to tell the government how to run our country and their law enforcement, not up to one particular individual (be it the five-oh or the joe schmoe).

I have relatives in law enforcement, hell one of them told me about the time she got in a car crash with her girlfriends right after smoking a bowl, they all ran and she got screwed haha.

I have a 90% negative and 10% positive experience with cops. and this is the simple explanation and reasoning behind it all. I think you'll agree.

Cops are trained and taught to follow a strict set of rules and codes. Anyone caught violating those rules is to be punished.

This is how a lot of cops interpret the job.

last I checked it said "to protect and serve".

there are however a few cops that I've dealt with that have been completely cool people that I wouldnt mind having a beer with on a summer afternoon. The difference is simply how they view their jobs.

police that follow the letter of the law are the assholes. They are the ones that will harass and intimidate.

police that follow the SPIRIT of the law are usually in my experience, reasonable and fair people.

the shitty side of this is that 90% of the cops are in the job to have the power of "letter of the law" type enforcement to begin with.
Yes very true, I mean you can't just judge everyone for being a cop, thats like saying all weedsmokers have weed stereotypes! (lazy unkempt dirty jobless) but i say there at 90% good weed smokers and then 10% are the loser rebellious smokers who smoke to be "cool"
I hate the laws concerning weed not those who enforce it.

The law makers are our enemys not those who enforce it, an asshole cop was an asshole before he/she ever became a cop.

Hell i'd love to be a cop ( now dont go calling cookie an asshole ) and i'd be a damm good one too, mind you i'd get fired within a week for letting the smokers/growers live in peace.

Hahaha me too cookie *monitors watching grow houses* OH WOOPS did i just dump my coffee all over the cameras AND all the evidence we had on this counties possible growhouses? my bad let me try and get that for you *stomps and kicks the slush of electrical equipment and soaked documentation* dang im sorry guys! :nanana:

The job tends to attract certain personalities, tough guys, bullies, and authoritarians seem to really love their work. I have always had a HUGE problem with authority and unjust laws, so cops and I are like oil and water. So far I always come out on top, so I must be the oil.

Before i got busted for growing i viewed them as a necessary evil.
If you think about it, life without law enforcement could get pretty hairy.
when i was busted, they took plants from my flatmates room and put them into my room and took photos while i was down at the station.i didnt even know i was getting done for cultivation because i had just pulled and dried mine the week before.when i found out i hit the roof.when i confronted the officer in charge he pretty much told me to fuckoff.
ever since then i have hated them with a passion.
if i saw a pig on fire i wouldn't waste my piss on him to put him out.:joint:

I've had a a couple relatives in law enforcement and they're cool people but I generally don't trust cops. It's a job so at the end of the day I can't hate them for it.

not through a camera lens thats for sure. It is now illegal over here to take pics of cops. Unfortunately, most people only control their impulses due to the consequences of not controling their impulses. When you remove the consequences, you remove the need to control the impulses. Sadly too many times we see on the news that now famous response to any wrong doing by a civil servant of any kind, "we will learn the lessons from this and move forward". I'd like to see someone in the dock try that. It would be taken as a full confession rather than a justifieable response to wrong doing.

Would you date a cop if she was super hot but you had a few hundred flowering plants in a warehouse or something? lol .... that would be crushing, just imagine lying your entire relationship about what you do, another reason to screen every single person you meet .. oh gawd Im a paranoid individual sometime...

Do what I do if you see a cop RUNNNN lol..
