Some good strains

well for the easiest, most reliable, and most advisable strains i would say all of serious seeds strains apart from kali mist.
ak47 is v strong- sherbert sweetness
chronic is strong - genericky sweetness
white russian is vv strong - subtle-ish skunky power
i have grown tons of strains and wish that id been told as a begginer to just get one of these and learn the fun way. i dont think many people will argue that these are the most sensible first choice.

i always reccomend cheese from big buddha, i think they're in stock at the boutique too. great taste, great high, good yield. but then again i havnt grown out too many other strains, but i sure do like the cheese.

theyve only had feminised for ages. i dont agree with femmed seeds personally, i think they encourage people to get too greedy, that and ive seen and heard alot of higher hermie rates

Mine were feminised and i had Absolutly no problems with hermies or nanners, and i usually let em go 9-9.5 weeks. Some crazy pigment at harvest too.
I hate arguing over Regular Vs Feminised, I definatly reccomend the cheese. Im tellin you LIAS buy some for yourself and see, I know youve done the UK version, try a side by side grow lets see what you think. Im sure Serious strains are quality too, but ive never grown them, yet...

i know femmed seeds can be done without any hermies and i like buddah. but i have more of a moral problem with feminised seeds i think their for lazy people that want it all, both breeders and misinformed newbie growers. not calling you a newbie dude. cheese is a pinnacle in its own right, not a starter strain, youve gotta keep some surprises for later in this world if possible. i could name 50 other strains rite now that ive tried, but i just think that ak for a first grow would be amazing.

It's pretty hard on deciding on what seeds to get.
Is the smell of Ak-47 in flower hard to control ? Is it a Head high or body, or bit of both ?
Sagarmatha Seeds : Strawberry D-lite looks pretty nice, Strawberry Cough and NYCD.
I can't decide if I want to buy one pack of well known good seeds for the bit more than the 100 dollar range, or to get two packs of decent seeds for the same price range. I have FMS old Grapefruit, and I want to cross it with something good, ak-47 and the grapefruit sounds like it would make a good cross, But I really don't know.
Basically, I want a strain that one won't easily get bored with, if that makes sense; something that would be good for any occasion. A well rounded strain, thats why I can't decide if it would be best to order one pack of well known seeds or just get 2 packs of pretty good strains.

ak is very heady for a squat indica dom, but a good amount of body. the smell is a simple sweet one which is nothing like as blatent as summit skunky. i dont think theirs any such strain as one you wont get bored with, but the nearest thing imo is jack herer (karmas is well the best alround)
Foolish statement. I'll agree that hype about some strains is unwarranted but..
IYHO, what $60 sativa dom strain is better than SSH or Nev's Haze or Kali Mist?

lol @ a moral problem with female seeds.
I've never bought them personally, but I can see where they would be hugely beneficial for someone who doesn't want to, or can't, start a bunch of seeds. As they offer a big potential benefit to medical users with small grows I don't see them as being immoral at all as long as the prices are reasonable - and BBS and GHS have very reasonable prices for their fems.

imo they miss the point of growing weed, like the way arjan misses the point when he calls himself "the king of cannabis".
i think it breeds a culture of people that want it all, the easy life. femmed seeds seem like the easy road. i have seen alot of unusual growth in feminised strains and i cant put my finger on whether its because of a lack of progeny testing or because of the process involved with making em.
i cant think of any strains sold as femmed that are really good enough for med users, but your right if med patients need their medicine then buy what works, but i think everyone else should encourage the practice of more normal breeding types to maintain the validity of the genetics of ganja.

Just check out Femaleseeds, Their Skunk Special and Grapefruit are just GREAT!
And I personaly think that the Grapefruit beats a big majorety of the Haze-strains. The grapefruit is a short and quick flowering strain and still gives a very sativa high!, can it get better?
Their Pure AK is a 48day strain, I will give it a try next I think, time is of the essence you know :wink:

but I would have to agree after growing Serious seeds White Russian and Bubblegum that there strains are reliable, finish close to the breeders description and were all fairly uniform and even the Bubblegum IBL had great vigor compared to what I was expecting. Good luck with your search!

I would look at these strains for high yielding and good high
AK-47 - serious seeds
Chronic - serious seeds
afghani - sensi seeds
white russian - serious seeds
HOG - THSeeds
pretty much any G13 cross, G13xPinebud and MK-Ultra (g13xogkush) are both great
NYCD - soma seeds
Sour Diesel - reservoir seeds

i didnt say there werent any good femmed strains persay, rarther no really "good enough" medicinal quality femmed stains.
i would also advise people to avoid femmed seeds, but more because regular are not that hard to do, you just learn what a male looks like. then you can grow fems after and see if their that much better to warrent encouraging the most bone-idle breeding techniques mainly used by the business men that run some of the cash hungry larger seed companies

And which are the negative? That you can't find super special strains in feminised?
And the hermie problem is almost so small that it really doesn't matter, but this is only true with good seed-breeders like Femaleseeds!
