fish just doesnt taste good at all when its not fresh
but try frying it like the english do, with fried potatoes. that helps for most non fish lovers imo.

Nice man... I love big fish.... Went cod fishing once. Got drunker than hell the night before on the bus ride to the boat, got on the boat in the morning and the swells were so big the captain didnt want to take us out, but since we came so far to get there he did anyway. I got seasick as hell from being puking drunk the night before. It was awful. Seasick is the worst sick ever.
Anyway, caught a bunch of cod after puking for 5 hours straight. They fought like logs kinda. They were in such deep water is was kinda boring. Still fun though, all fishing is fun...mostly...lol

atlantic cod. i didnt have the cam with me, so i had to wait until i got home to take pics. unfortiunately i had to take the head off first.
but you get the drift, Cod ca 15KG */-.. its not a huge one, but descent size

is this what you call steelheads over there? we call em seatrout over here. its trout that has been flushed out into sea and gone upriver again to spawn. this one was 2,2 kg
the arctic charr, its a cold water relative of the atlantic salmon.
... and the yumyum, mountain trout!
i dont go much salmon fishing, them suckers dont eat once they go up the rivers to spawn. they just bite because they are aggressive
but it seems me and some mates are heading for a salmon river this year, our legs are tired of hiking the tough mountain trails to the troutlakes

Hey sun, I think what you have are the sea run brown trout. They look more like that than steelhead in my opinion from the spotting patterns. Very, very nice fish you got there. Dude, you keep posting pics of fish like that and I'll be coming to your area to fish some way somehow...If i'm allowed out of the US anymore...lol
I could be wrong, but don't think so. Heres some pics of the steelhead i fish for here... You'll see the diff.
pic 1 is a close up of a steelhead(rainbow trout). The spotting on the fish is much different than your sea trout. Thats why i'm thinking you have sea run brown trout.
