Got some stuff called puking red the other day. Nice outdoor stuff no seeds dried really well. Decent price too.

I just started germing some seeds so I will update this thread when they pop up.

yo hashcat, (i realize he hasnt posted here since Oct). Your name is all over this site when i search 'lemon G'

you know at first i thought the lemon G was weak, but now i just think i was just expecting the wrong kind of high. It's a cerebral high, not a body stone.

(hopes for a reply)

anybody in ohio valley area ever try to bloom plants in the spring outside? if so, was it a success?

I wonder if it would be successful if your clones were under 24-0, then put them out on Derby Day.

The change in light would surely cause them to bloom. Now finishing as the days grow longer each day might be a challenge. I suppose you could cover the plants at a certain time each day.

Just picking your brain for ideas.

And I would like to hear more about this, so I'm subscribing to see if anybody has done this before.

Stoner133 has alot of knowledge on spring grows, theres his thread from 06, read his posts and ya can learn alot in that thread

To get a spring harvest one would have to start there plants indoors in January and veg them out till around March, then place outside first week of March, Hopefully ya already started to start them out on 12/12 so once outside they need no time to take the suns light and turn on the buds :), by the first week or two of May ya should be able to harvest ya plants if not ya will have to bring them indoors for 12/12 as they are gonna want to revert back to veg after the first week or two of May

Just my 2 cents fwiw

Putting them out Derby day is when they should be put out, for an end of season harvest.
It doesn't matter what light schedule they were under inside, in May, there is more than 12 hours light, and the plants will all either stay in veg until late aug, or reveg until late aug.
But, they will not start to flower in May outside, unless you can control the amount of light they get.

I veg indoors and plant them in the ground the first week or two of May and watch them take off for the sky by time June 21st comes around my plants are already 3 to 4ft+ tall, by time they start to flower they around 8 to 9ft easily, so to each there own on planting outdoors :)

But yes spring harvest can very fun and El Professor gave ya basically all good info on how to successfully go at it

i always put them out in may. About 5 years ago I put five Elvis clones out that were just in the rockwool cube and had a decent set of roots and within a month they were about 2ft tall. I have no problems vegging inside then transplanting outside in May.

I have always put out my garden the Sunday after derby. I only remember one year that had sleet, and the derby was an early one that year.
N. of Ky and they need another week or two.

I also plant in May after vegging indoors for quite awhile to sex out my plants and get cuttings from them, no need to waste 6 months of my time outdoors on male plants less im planning on doing some crosses

Hey guys, whats going on with everybody? Just found this thread and thought that I would post up on here. I am a little north of most of you guys(c-bus), and I was wondering if it was too late to put some plants outdoor? I just finally found a spot the is close enough to my place that I can put them, that looks like no one goes there ever, but I have a few plants that have been ready to go out for a while.

Only too late after August! That's when the flowering begins.. Plenty of time.

Good deal, because I really need my "bonus" area in my cab back to start a couple new mothers in. I think that some of the bugs that found their way in there were carrying some sort of virus, or something to that effect(all my new leaves are growing in spirals now, and the ones I have blooming are showing weird new mutations, like three bladed leaves that are "webbed")

ohio river

ohio river

Just saw this thread im right in the middle of most of you all it seems like close to nati right on the river. just nice to know there are some people like me around my area, got 1 grow under my belt and as we speak am harvesting the second one some white rhino and nycd with one mazar so far things are turning out spectacular with my first try wiht some true genetics(first grow bagseed). Did get gifted some indiana bubblegum that is gonna be my third grow im excited to try it have heard nothing but rave reviews concerning this strain. suspossedly great outdoor strain althought im gonna be growin indoors, well just glad theres a thread for us country folk and maybe down the road we can figure out some system to help each other out maybe share tips and tricks and i know its frowned upon or i think it is but i personally would love to share/trade som genetics made an assload of rhino and nycd seeds plan on making a ton of bubblegum seeds as well, just be nice if there was a secure way to share some of our genetics wiht each other. maybe we could start a ohio river boating club? lol jet ski and smoke group? lol im sure those are silly ideas just would be cool. well sorry to be long winded hope everyone in the area has a great season.

Im near c-bus as well and goin outdoor this year too and a lil behind schedule but never too late til aug as Lola said lol. What strains are u currently running Toastfighter? Lets try to keep this thread active and show what us oh/ky ppl got goin on

hey all just read threw this thread figured id stop by from northeast OH.

the strains that i have seen since 2004 are g-13, afghan, white rhino, bubble gum, ice princess, trainwreck, chocolope, mazar, big bud, sour diesel, orange krush, lemon G.

that's about all the strain i can recall.

NOTE: I did move 3 times since 2004 so the strains vary from area to area all northeast OH tho, from 5 diff people. Also since bout 2006 ish people have been trying to sell "purple haze" do not waste your money unless you know its 100%, ive had atleast 10 diff people offer me it. all it has been is decent beaster from the looks of it.
