just built my first grow cab..its 3x2.5x6.. 250watt hps with a homemade cool tube.. 78.5 deg and 28% humidity. my problem is.. it took me longer to get my light and now i'm runing out of height in my cab.. Is there anything i can do to the plants...maybe tie themdown or something.... any ideas fellas??

LST and or supercropping. Had the same issues for height recently, and I supercropped the hell out of my plants, works great.

supercropping is mainly
gently crush not smash but gently crush the hurd {inner part of main stem} you'll hear it if you listen. now again gently roll the stem w/thumb over your index finger to a 90 degree angel
in few hrs the top will begin to point upwards but stem mostly stays at the angle. i've had some plants needed multi suppercroppings doen to stay down lmao
all the above methods can and do increase the yield of your harvest could be something to consider before your next run. just do some reading on the above methods, theres alot of info here on them

ok kool 2 wks into flwr do a search here on super cropping and do some reading but thats about your only hope now. good thing the stretch all plants do 2-3 wks into flower is about over for ya.
heres a suggestion if you dont wish to super crop go to local hydro shop get some bush master they'll stop stretch. i use it 1 wk into flower 1/2 tsp per gal water with or w/out ferts and top feed my soil. i usally only need 1 application but some new strains that lean on sativa side need more just follow the directions. i've never foliar sprayed bushmaster but have herd ppl complain it burns the leaves if to strong. i've never experinced a problem top feedn the soil at 1/2 tsp per gal water
awsome.. thanks guys.. will look into super cropping..ok.checked it out.. you think i can get away with it.. exactly 2 weeks to the day into flower.. Grapefruit .....so just pinch and bend over.. do i do it twice to get the top of the plant pointing up again ? the plant has 4 main stalks coming from one 1/2 in thick stalk so I would have to pinch at least 2 of the 4 ..
as explained above very gently crush the inner hurd [main stem] then roll stem over your forefinger allow it to hang 90 degree angle to rest of plant
no need to do anything to the top it will grow upward
