Phillthy Gets Dirty...

Well in the winter it gets down to like 20 degrees outside, and sometimes it gets to crazy cold temps. which is where the air cooled lights get there air from. I am not sure how cold is to cold to bring across the lights? I dont want them to break the lights from temp shock or whatever.

when you get your Co2 hooked up are you going to change the air out in the room ever or will it be fully sealed?

the room is completely sealed. the only time air exchanges is when i go in and out which may be once a day and even then the door isn't open long.

i got the cppm-1 mounted but had to get creative with the generator. the vcg-1 calls for 18-20inches of clearance between it and anything else. I had nowhere to hang it where I could keep those tolerances and didn't want to put it in the veg room and rely on a blower to pipe it to the flower room so i hung it from the light rail ;) the only time it is close to anything is within a foot of the ac or the ballasts at either end and that is only for 30 seconds so i think it should work. i will run the regulator and hose tomorrow as i have to drill through the wall to hang that (too tired now).

it is funny, i calibrated the cppm outside and got about 390-405 ppm. i took it in the grow room where i had been working for about 2 hours prior and it read 1850 ppm. after about 20 minutes it was up around 2100. this is with just me being in there... no enrichment.

here are some pics of how i hooked it up. hope it works out ;)

thanks for stopping by core! that is the sensor that takes the co2 reading. it also has the photocell which tells the controller to turn off when it is lights out so no more co2 is administered. i thought they were white but mine came in a slick chrome color ;)

appreciate the kind words asil :) i wish i had more room too! the flower room there is 8 x 10. double would suit me well :joint:
