Question: Is it true that these all-indica plants as the strainguide at kindgreenbuds.com suggests, tend to be shortish and bushy, as opposed to reaching for the ceiling? As such, (1) did you need to stake them? and (2) how much floor area did you have to budget per plant in those containers? I was thinking 2x2 per plant.

BTW for those interested in this strain (which presumably is anyone reading this thread), the highly-respected breeder Outlaw Genetics has a new purple hybrid called Magic Merlin, for which seeds are available. The mom was a Grand Daddy Purple, and the dad is Double Purple Doja F3, which has completely, profoundly purple buds.

If you join http://www.*********.com they have an auction component to that site called thcbay. The seeds are listed by breeder. Just look for Outlaw Genetics. His own site is here: http://www.outlawgenetics.com, but I don't know how to get seeds directly from him. If you can do that through his site, another interesting thing is that he is still producing seeds from the Double Purple Doja itself (aside from the Magic Merlin GDP-DPD hybrid). Good luck.

i know this is kinda old but i just wanted to say i think GDP is a good yielder, its just rare in the sense that it has to be huge in veg.. but most strains you cant veg as big and flower out, they would get too tall... but if you have another veg area gdp can be especially good to grow..... especially doing a vertical setup.. ive seen some monsters
