... the flowering room is too packed full.. hehe 27 plants.. cant wait to harvest some to space the girls out a bit more..

im not going to put in new plants untill i get the number down a whole bit.. im just going to keep veggin the plants for as long as necesary - and when time comes they will produce lots..

the diva G x lp.. its very tasty.. its a smoke i will enjoy to the max untill the jar runs empty it s one of those sativas that make you haze out completelly and forget u got a spliff in your hand. the G13 in her is noticeable in this pheno, stinky almost skunky rotten but the flavour is far too complex to be anything mainstream. resinous,spicy and pungent just a shame the nugs are so fluffy (BUT CRUNCHY with resin!!) . kind of in some way i feel i would have liked to keep that pheno.. i mean it did quite well - after all i flowered it in the same pot of soil/coco mix i once about 8 months ago flowered it in the first time - thats rigth - it NEVER got transplanted.. but.. ill look for a new one next time i dig out a few of the same out of the seed stash.. im sure there should be more interesting phenos left.

also now is flowering the keeper pheno of SSH x LP - and its also looking promising - i flowered the original mom about the same time as the Diva g x LP and it was very resinous and stood out nicelly in the middle of the other ones. a very sativa leaning girl also - and im allready seeing the heat is causing it to get som massive foxtailing in the tips, and i kind of realize its a fault in my setup - one side of the flowering room got less airmovement. i hope to be able to fix that as soon as i get some cash in. also its time to ad more extraction ASAP, since the temps are allready getting a bit too high.

in a fw weeks time im going to set the flowering time to be during the coldest temps of the day - this means it will get switched on at around maybe 9-10 in the evening instead of 2 in the after noon like now. the draw back is that the flowering room will get extra sensitive for light leaks - since during the day there will be day light and etc in the rooms next to it. i hope the room is light tight enough to not cause any trouble.

soon enough the selected clone of SSH X PTK will be polinated with the PTK pollen i got gifted. more about that when the lady gets a bit more hair on the bush...

im asking my self if i should do any other polinating when i get the chance. its allways fun to do some experiments. for example it might be interesting with a JAGGEN x PTK in comparison to the JAGGEN x SSH/PTKxPTK and same goes with Amnesia haze too. im a bit reluctant to make any 100% crosses with fear of low yielding plants but still im thinking of the fact a snowdawg could be fun with PTK. lest see how far the pollen goes, but honestly its a nice baggy so there should be enough for some fun.



i just realized i started writing this post about an hour ago or so.. this Diva-G x LP is really good smoke.. i constantly got to fix the spelling since it doesnt seem like my brain is working as it should...

i can see now i got plants for my self set up for a long time forward. and thats good - since with the summer heat cloning easilly becomes a problem - with rot, moulds, or drying out ... i dont think i have had too many succesfull indoor cloning rounds during the worst of the summer heat. remedy to that might be to do it with natural light in some shaded place... gotto think more about it...

i pray to JAH this summer wont be too extreme.. i dont want too much hustle with watering...

im rolling an other Diva-g x LP.. but i think ill keep this one for tomorow.. i bet a SSH x ptk gonna be the rigth one for bed time...

we started moving clones over to VENDS grow setup.. gonna be a small relief for a while to have less plants in veg.. but its quickly going to go back to same soon enough im going to cut an other round of clones tomorow after i have moved a bunch of the vegging ones to an other room, where they will veg with sunlight during the summer.

i have been thinking that this coming round of buds was going to be of lesser quality because of the smaller plant size.. well i gotto say it seems like i was wrong with that.. its actually looking really promising... 4 m2 of NUGS all for my headstash

got good news.. more about that later this year when it gets time... hehe

also an other note - seems like in 2-3 weeks i can harvest some more plants.. nice to fill up the jars.. its getting worryingly empty hehe feels best to have a bunch of full jars in storage... got rigth now only enough for roughly a month or two, so i should be ok - but better prepare for drought u never know if the summer heat gets too bad later and makes all flowering useless. this is normally the case.

normally i do stop around june untill september or so, but i thought id do it anyway since this year (and from now one - knock on wood) im not gonna buy any smoke.. hehe hope it works out... it means ill flower no matter what but i cant asure myself the results are going to get as good as usually.

i hope to be able to put in the extra vents im planning to, ASAP. also i want to buy some diamond film but i dont know if the little extra cash in crisis times will be enough for that... maybe i should look for a cheap web-suply instead of buying it at the local grow-shop where they charge 8 euro per m2...

definetly killer summer - this region is allready getting temps of 35 in the shadow... not long left untill some records will be broken... this summer is gonna be HOT

and humid too after all the rains this winter

ill just lean back and have an rediculously strong ice-coffee, smoke a spliff and just watch it.

the local comercial success psychedelicia x something, has become a nice little mom and its time to cut clones very soon. not long after she is going into flowering. this one is promising from the words of aproval from the local fellas.. gonna be fun to flower her

cool cool... just talked to the coop partner and we are both stoked to plant a bigger amount of seeds, actually we are talking about going thru the reserve and pretty much clearing it out. we have selected a whole bunch, some of them getting quite old indeed, but better try anyway. got a bunch of goodies... most of them are few numbers of seeds per strain, so lets hope for the best!!

beeniemans choise 10 - jaimacan highgrade. i grew out one before. kicked my ass. picked by a family member with good connections.

jaggen x c/ptk 10 - project eden 2009 the "c" stands for pheno C of ssh x ptk, wich is our keeper mom, crossed back to PTK male. we had two males and we let them freely pollinate the new keepers. with jaggen we expect som diversity, but there should definetly be some intersting outcome, since the jack flash is a P1 sativa dominant and the SSH/ptk x ptk males were indica dominant. we are looking for hybrid vigour.

Amnesia Haze x SSH/PTK/ptk 10 - project eden 2009 - here again we thought this inbred sativa dominant cross (amnesia haze) could give some funny outcome with a indica dominant ssh/ptk x ptk male selection.

SSH/PTK x SSH/lp 10 - project eden 2008 - this cross is kind of an interesting one too since the SSH is both crosses (made by cloneman) uses the SAME SSH. so we are playing with the possibility of a very SSH dominant plant with hybrid vigour. if not so, on the PTK and LP side things can get very funky too.


so with other words we are stoked! and did i say thatsonly the seeds im going to plant.

im hoping a lot of them will germ the thing is rigth now and untill beginning of august the seedling can be vegged with natural sunlight in one of the rooms of my house. this means vegging them will be pretty much for free.. and i can still concentrate on my main goal, wich is to have enough smoke...

this way i can flower all big plants i got in veg one by one, without stress, and also i can veg the clones of the keepers, for this autumns flowering rounds. later i will put the seedlings to flower a few at a time as soon as they are big enough to produce a good amount of smoke. im going to try to make clones of the seedlings before flowering them, but really im planning to just do it as usual... reveg the best looking ones. this way i keep the cloning department a bit less anoying..

also finally i decided for a better use for the PTK pollen i got in the freezer...the fact is i think rigth now it would be in order to make a new F1 cross, since that should give us something more efficient and quicker to work with while we are doing the longer SSHxPTK / PTK inbreeding project.

so meanwhile the new F1 cross. obviously the male parent is the PTK pollen from pebble and from doing a bit of study, it shows the most likelly 2 most reliable females to cross her to is the jaggen (jackflash) and the amnesia haze. att the moment we think the JAGGEN will be first candidate and the amnesia haze second. i got two females of each selected to dust completelly.. i HOPE for a whole bunch of seeds... hehe and i hope i get enough smoke on the side, since im not keen of smoking the seeded buds hehehe but its most likelly gonna be worth it in the end two promising crosses.

amnesia haze x ptk - cup winner compact chunky haze hybrid will be crossed with an ibl indica. im not sure how inbred the AH is... but lest see

jaggen x ptk - jackflash is an enormouslly well yielding inbred haze dominant hybrid and to cross it to the killer cabbage PTK can give nice results...

later on we will see what we will do with them..

on the indica side of things i dont know if we have anything really worthwile to explore, as far as it comes to selecting a P1 for crossing with a PTK male. although im willing to make a test with the SNOWDAWG, since it seems to have interesting atributes that the PTK might contribute nicelly to. but this would be on the side of the main F1 project - lets see how it goes.

in reality i would rather choose only 1 female to cross with the PTK pollen. to simplify, just not to go accumulating varieties to test out properly.

im going to think for a few days trying to make a decision. input is wellcome meanwhile.
