iGro, I lost tomatoes that I covered on my deck, but the weed plants right next to them were fine. I went to the spot, and the plants were chillin like nothing happened :D I did see other (non-mj) plants at the spot that got hit by frost, so I'm gonna assume that decent sized MJ plants are ok with a 30 degree night.

So things seem to be rolling along now...My sativas are on day 47 and looking like they need probably 40 days more...they are taking forever...the OG Blueberry in there with em is starting to show flower sites. And Free Grow is chugging along, plan on transplanting to 16 oz cups on sunday (trainwreck, bubba chunk , blue moonshine and blueberry) are all in the starter cups....

Love2garden- Man I feel for you with light issues...Last crop my kid played with my timer and for like two weeks they got a spurt of 15 minutes of 400 watts in the mddle of the dark cycle. Let me tell you what wonders it did, the buds loosened right up and due to that the dried quickly and begun to die on plant....some was salvaged but I lost some of my primo tops that way. Good luck and good catch...

Question about finishing times/flushing.

I have an untested/self made strain. It is mostly sativa, So I know it will take longer than the 50-60 days to finish. I also know that if I flush it, the leaves will turn yellow. Also I think the amber trichs will also become more visible while the plant knows it's dying. (or am I wrong on this one?) Anyone here know how to play this card for the future? Should I be feeding 12/12 until the amber trichs show and then flush? I can't get a real answer searching this.

At the moment I have a 20% amber trichs. Have started flushing early in the week. Some leaves are yellowing. Plant has been under 12/12 for 62 days. Heavy dense nugs almost to the point that I have to stake them. Last grow took 75+ days but I sure I could have sped it up by a week had I flushed sooner. Doin this in ffof.

What a week here in Amishland,my dog was very sick.Kidney failure.After a few days of nursing her,I had to put her down today.What a horrible position to be put in.I know I did the right thing for her.We had over 12 great years together.We went everywhere together.God, am I going to miss her.

I have a 15 year old pitty that is starting to have problems, without a tragic illness onset like you experienced, I'd have a hard time putting this old girl down.

She's been too good to me and I'm friggin selfish I suppose....Sorry you had to make that decision like that man....At least you got your goodbyes in.

AF,

I got choked up reading about your best friend. Mine had to be put down in 2006 and I miss so much still! never goes away. Mine was a beautiful rottweiler that I got when he was 7 weeks old. Trained that dog to listen to hand signals and he was like a human. If you gave him a command once that was it. Like go sit in you bed ecs... he was amazing.
I was watching the movie Marly & Me the other night with the wife and we both starting tearing up at the end....truly sucks and I feel your pain.
