Computer sales are dropping because of the economy and Dell has come up with the DELLA site for women.

WTF next Dello for guys.
Dell is the second largest PC manufacturer of PC's. But their new notebook only wieghs 2-3 pounds and start at $350.


But I just love the HP1000 Vivienne Tam edition.
High fashion and cool technology all in one. First designer digital clutch and can carry it in your purse.$600-$700 is the cost.
Hot Red with Peony Blooms and a matching silk sleeve of course.
Does that make me superficial.....LOL.


But D hates my HP VISTA laptop and says VISTA sux.....and he should know.

yes. Vista is bad(bold because of how true it is.). Microsoft's biggest consumer robbery yet. You need really good hardware to run the piece of shit software. If human beings want to advance with the computer then we need to get microsoft(and other hacks) out of the picture period. Computers=Extension of the brain, Microsoft(others)=Extension of your wallet for nothing, no progress. I hate how they have a monopoly over everything and everyone..fuck em.

Damn you sound just like my husband and he says the same thing. So I am giving the VISTA to my 10year old grandson and get the new Vivienne Tan notebook because it will be easy to travel with.

Glad I now have a nerdy geeky guy to advise me as I am technodumbo but want to learn though.

Vista was a terrible mistake my M$. Hopefully Windows7 will fix things. Doesn't matter to me though, I've been using a Mac since `86 (the bad `ol days of System 7).
I guess it's OK M$ keeps making crap- it keeps me employed fixing their crap.

Meh, a branded "woman's laptop" just sounds like a bunch of fancy talk for a pretty paint job. It's still the same `ol Dell crap-o-box..

If you want shiny and pretty, not to mention a laptop that'll last you (my 6 y/o powerbook is still happy as a clam), buy a Mac laptop..

My husband says it is CRAP....and I trust his judgement. Lots of tech guys agree.

but my ipod has been an unreliable piece of shit. Its battery is practically dead, unless its plugged in all the time...it randomly freezes.... and a few days ago i got into my car, put my ipod in, and it was fucking BLANK. all that fucking time organizing with stupid fucking itunes, wasted. fuck apple.

Seriously, if you have your music still in iTunes, then it's not lost. Your ipod may be hosed, but your music is not gone. If your on a PC, I would suggest using a different software package than iTunes. iTunes on Windows blows.

I've used Apple since system 7, and Windows since before it was windows (DOS). Both have their problems, but Mac OS X has resolved many, many of the problems their previous system had, while Windows keeps introducing glitches, and complete failures (Vista, anyone??).

Anyway, the epic battle that is PC Vs. Mac is not what this thread was about, so, sorry for taking it off-topic. It's like politics- everyone has a opinion, and most people believe their opinion to be absolute, so it's not really worth arguing.

If when corporations released old stuff in pink, the ladies didn't flock to buy it, while the guys bought new stuff in black, there wouldn't be diff colours or techs aimed at diff sexes. If new stuff was released in pink first, would guys buy it or wait? I don't know, I think I may wait. So I guess I can't knock women for buying old tech simply because its released in pink.

On the other note, I have vista running on a single core 2ghz processor and theres no problems so far. I hated XP and kept win 2000 until vista was here. Though I didn't go for the bells and whistles, just the home basic version.

I love my Della, that's the name I called my first Pentium. Can't they come up with their own name. Their next day service is unbeatable for a business. Dell Canada has been fantastic to me, they even refunded money from a 3 year old LCD, I went from a 26" Dell LCD after 5-6 replacements they gave me all my cash back. I was than able to buy my 46" Sammy which came down in price after 3 years, thanks Dell. I now use my Dell 37" LCD with my XPS P4
