It helps not to think about it especially while going through security.
I am generally hauling ass / too busy to "worry".
Trying to find a hook up out of town can be riskier than bringing your own.

Yeah.. a few space cakes doesn't bother customs say 4 or so... They didn't bother to open the zip lock and sniff.
Needless to say I was ready to crap my pants.
The best advice, and I am yet to finish this thread, is keep your clothes clean and separate from your weed items.
Although it seemed strange to my friends that I was freezer zip lock bag crazy with my pipe and smoking stuff I felt better that the smell was kept limited.
So wash everything... dryer sheets are nice. and be relaxed.
KLM, the airline, announces in flight that they are a part of the "SPY Network" and indeed several off color comments were made to me since I was wearing an Amsterdam hat but I kept my poker face.. I also felt a few muffins weren't going to be an issue. They would have to spend money to analyze it and such.
Yet I didn't think twice about not packing weed. No weed is worth my freedom.
So be ready... They have the staff to dump your baggage and if they find evidence they will strip search ya.
I guess one could swallow a balloon but that's risky if it doesn't come out.
I mean what could you get maybe 5, 10 or 20 grams of hash or something?
I'm going to advise against even trying....

Damn straight. To be honest, unless travelling to somewhere like Dubai, it isn't too risky. It just takes some research, common sense, planning, and balls. The balls are especially important if they start searching you.

I've flown domestic several times with several ounces, in checked luggage, with clean and dirty pipes.
A couple times I've found TSA pamphlets saying they've randomly searched my bag(s). Nothing missing, no involvement with cops. I would carry tinctures(liquid hash) in my carry on in 1oz bottles.
TSA is looking for explosives and weapons not my atomic bong.
I felt okay to have weed in my carry on on the domestic flights.
I still keep the smell down as best as possible..
I was cleaning my pipe in the restroom before my domestic flight completely baked so I'll avoid that in the future..
Simple things to avoid help.

It's easy to transport bud when flying.
Double or triple vacuum seal your bud grinded or pre-rolled in joints. Tape under your balls. After security check, go to the bathroom and put it in your bag or pocket. Works every time.
I think if you had one of those new portable i-Olite vaporizers, as long as it's clean, take that in your carry on. If they stop you, they can't bust you because there is nothing in it illegal. Meanwhile, you have the bud you stashed under your balls to use in your i-Olite once you get to your destination.

You guys are talking about losing your freedom to get high.
Unless your carrying a few pounds, nobody is going to jail. If you get caught by the TSA with posession of any drugs, or paraphenalia you are simply handed over to local authorities and charged based on whatever the law is in the city you are in. Nothing more. The TSA, or the govt. has nothing to do with it. They just snitch on you and go back to their boring jobs.
I travel a lot and I always bring my weed. A few things I do to ensure I don't get busted.
1. I only take what I'm going to need for my trip. If I don't smoke it all I throw it away. That way I only have to deal with my original departure airport. That reduces my risk of getting caught by 50% right there.
2. I grind it and roll it up in as small a bag as I can and tape it closed. Then I tape it to my under wear down in the bottom so its sitting under my balls by my taint. Nobody is going to feel you there...guaranteed!!
3. You only have to get through security. Once your through you are home free. As soon as I get through security, I go to the bathroom and dig it out. Put in my pocket and go about my business.
4. I don't take any pipes, papers, anything. I make a pipe (usually an apple pipe) when I get to my destination. Or I may swing into a headshop and get the chepest pipe they have, but I toss it before I head home.
I've done it hundreds of times over the years and only got caught once in Boise Idaho. And that was because I put a small one hitter in my backpack and they saw it on the screen. I learned that lesson the hard way. It cost me 1200.00 bucks to pay the fine and have an attorney get it knocked off my record. No more paraphanalia

it's super easy to take herb on planes. put it on your body. there are only 10 airports in the country with the x ray machines. I happen to live in an area with one. It's an invasion of privacy for them to look at your cock though, so it blocks that part of your body out. I vacuum seal it and put it in my underwear. like a 1/4 is easy. done it a bunch of times. overnight fedex any larger amounts.

dont drug dogs exist? i find it so hard to believe that in this day and age dogs arn't a worry. maybe 15 years ago, not anymore.
That's called "bodypacking". It's always been quite simple to get small amounts on a plane, however there is a new twist: some airports have new machines that can see through your clothing, and they will pick up anything you are bodypacking. You may choose a pat down instead if you don't want to go in the machine (and you don't).
Very easy to carry hash. You can put it in condoms and swallow. Comes back later.

my mom lives there and the guy said i looked like a rocker (scene hair style?) and since i had a bright RED passport with SWISS CONFEDERATION written on it, and 2 months earlier we voted on decrim, he made me go with him in a room n searched me, i guess he was gay and he got horny by seeing me and wanted to see the goods... I later discovered that if you result positive at a drug test (which they are entitle to perform) you may end up just as if you had drugs on you.
Be safe, even if you're just transiting at dubai keep a low profile n hope you won't have to pass a drug test...
I actually was pissed off at first but then my common sense kicked in and i was like "what was in my mind to get at dubai airport with my scene hair and skinny jeans? i'm a complete idiot!"
In fact to get back home i had my hair randomly styled with some wax and wore a Prada t-shirt, D&G belt and jeans n leather shoes (pretty funny the more gay you look the more you get treated well LMAO) i even got a guy with a golf car drive me to a smoking lounge lol
