I'm suppose to be moving soon to where I can be a mad scientist with outdoor hydro dwc in 55gal drum under A 10' diam scrogg screen, I cant wait. but until then i have my indoor projects such as my Terrarium and bloom room to tend to. what genetics do you plan to run?

Sadly, i have nothing good to work with right now. Im on a very tight budget and have some random seeds that i have aquired over the last few months and im just testing them out to see how they do. I dont expect much out of them and since i dont know the climate very well this is a good way to start testing before i really start to go for bigger things. Everything youve helped with is greatly appreciated though. Also i have a ballast that i bought used with less than 100 hours on it,(it was barely taken out of the box) running a 400whps light. how many plants do you think i can reasonably get under this?

I think typically A 400w will cover 3'x3',are you using it just to veg your outdoor plants?

Im in GP but i periodically go up to portland,I'd be down to meet up in eugene for a lil 420 sesh on my way up.

well if you want the most out of a 400w indoor a sog would be the most efficient with speed or scrog but scrog would take longer but weight could be good

Ya, i think ill be doing Sog. im just trying to get a better place before i do more than 1 or 2 at a time.

im up in the air on either doing a sog or another scrog, but i might go sog to see the weight difference

do a sog, and let me know the differences as you go. honestly any knowledge i can get is what i need! haha. it would be nice to learn the differences between them through the stages.

I just took down 4 big plants and 7 small done SoG style...the big ones produced more per plant obviously, but the amount of space they took could've been used more efficiently with a sea of green. Some of the sog plants that are due for harvest in 3 weeks are already showing the same size buds as the big plants, if not bigger.

SoG is good because it's almost 100% head colas, whereas bushes tend to make more small, airy bud useful for pretty much nothing but grinding up for joints/blunts/vaporizer or cooking with.

Those airy wispy buds work well for making hash oil.....

Hash oil is good but I prefer the tinctures. I've also heard that called 'green dragon' and they're great for tooth aches among other things.

Tincture is basically the real "grandpas old cough medicine. You take bud/stems and let t soak or brew in everclear for a month or so and take a few sips... very potent
