LOL! If you hit a driver 325 yards and straight most of the time, that would make you the longest driver on the PGA tour.

In 2008 the average drive on the PGA Tour was only 287.1 yards.

Bubba Watson is one of the longest drivers on the PGA TOUR and he only averages around 315 yards off the tee. John Daly only averages around 310-312 off the tee. LOL!

From my experience I find that the rescue clubs are better than the lower irons. I never could hit that 2 and 3 iron properly, although the 4 iron was one of my favorite clubs.

I never could get the hang of timing that windmill so the ball doesnt hit a blade,I'm expert at putting the ball into the hippopotamus mouth though.

Sparky, You silly bastard. I bet the hippo's mouth looks scary after smoking some your blockhead? I smoked some of your BH while on a ski holiday in Telluride a couple of years ago and it took me 4 hours to get down the mountain. LOL!

Hey guys i have a couple questions for those that like golf. I like to bet with a bunch of guys that pretty much will take any drug that's offered but the majority like to smoke. If I'm betting with them I usually will not smoke as it can have a strange effect on me, you know where you don't care as much. But a few of the guys actually play better after they get loaded. So that's what I was wondering if you play better loaded or not?

I LOVE golf. Played it high nearly every time and had mixed results.

Recently, over the last 2 years, I've had access to dispensaries, discovered I've a propensity for sativas and have nothing but awesome stuff to report.

I would say that my problems being 'off' in the game in the past were due to being on indicas at the time.

Kind of ironic that I have to get injured to the point I can't play..... to get the opportunity to find out which smoke I should have been using every time.

Looking forward to being able to play again in the next few years. Still a long road ahead.

my home course was the nicest course in north carolina at the time, super nice, fairways like greens, those guy on tour hit like pussies(under control fag swing),they also like to cut the ball more, if ya can turn it over it adds like 30 yards a club, ever see long drive competitions, im not bragging but i was damn good, the tour was my goal, i mowed fucking greens so i could play the best courses for free and free range balls, and bartended at night so i could play golf whenever i wanted , golf is addictive bad, go play golf with people in the business and you will find really awesome players not nown cause they are drunks or addicts or whatever, anyhoo, nice thread , peace

I LOVE golf! Just being out on the lush greenery makes me feel good! That and a bleezy or two...

A lot of golfers on the tour actually blaze the doj'...it helps them line up the putts! hahaa...i believe it though. Shit I know John Daly blazes. And drinks waaaaay too much. Also smokes like 3 packs a day. Fore!!!!

I love golf, but suck so far.

I have been trying different varieties of weed to find out which is most golf friendly. We smoke a lot on the course. We are members and the course is 5 minutes away. The racy strains don't work for me, because I lose focus. The indicas suck because I feel heavy both mentally and physically. So far Cotton Candy is the one for focus and a nice sunny day for me.

Yeah screw the driver, My 2 iron goes just as far and straight. About 265-270. I hit my irons real well. I chip so-so. I putt like a jackass, really bad. Had a birdie look on a long par 4 and 3 putted it to death. Glad I didn't have a gun handy or it would have been curtains for me.

Remember, that figure takes ALL drives into consideration, par 3's, 4's and 5's. What's Watson's average on par 5's only? I'll bet there's several players well over 300 on par 5's only.

Off the tee with a DRIVER Bubba Watson averages 315.2 yards. That is with a DRIVER.

And your not going to find many players with a higher average off the tee with a driver, unless they only play in tournaments held on high altitude courses, where all the fairways slope downhill and they have a strong tailwind on all their drives. lol!

Listed below are the PGA TOUR average "carry" distances from the last 4 seasons (08, 07, 06, 05,).

DRIVER: 260 yards carry (total driving distance 287.3 yards average)

3W: 238

5W: 223

15-18 RESCUE: 218

3-I :203

4-I : 189

5-I : 181

6-I : 169

7-I : 160

8-I : 149

9-I : 136

PW : 122

I'm a professional golfer. you'd be shocked how many guys on the various tours are either alcoholics, stoners, or rx addicts. loads with add/adhd as well.

distance has nothing to do wtih how you score, plus you have to realize most pros are little men (<5'10), plus yardage's are so subjective (wind, slope, course firmness, ball, etc)

That said my swing speed is 118 mph, i carry my driver 280-285, so depending on the course it goes between 290 and 330. 3 wood flies 250 (off the deck), 5 wood 230, 3iron 220 (bent a degree strong), 4iron 210, 5 iron 200, 6 iron 185, 7 iron 170, 8 iron 158, 9 iron 145, pw 135, 54* 115, 60* 90

im 6'1 165 lbs, dont swing hard. have long arms/legs, ball goes far.

That being said, i rarely ever have a shot where I just hit a "normal 7 iron full swing straight" usually its more like hit a high soft cut 6 iron or a hard punch draw 8. again, golf is a great game because of the options, they are literally unlimited

any other questions id be glad to ask... no bs here... no reason to hahaha

I have golfed with a lot of those 300 yard folks....they all suck buttermilk. I love it when they start that shit too...I simply ag em on and they will be in the lumber in no time.
lol..I love it!

We were out on the course one late afternoon, when a big time storm rolled up on us out of nowhere, raining like hell and lots of lightening...We were all scrambling for a shelter or something to take cover...all but my boy. He was out in the middle of the fairway and holding an iron above his head as far as he could stretch it...
I asked him what the phuck he was doing, was he mad?
He replied..."Hell man, even God can't hit a 2 iron". :yoinks:

On a more serious note, I find a 2I such a waste of good bag space.
On playing well...for bogey golfer such as myself, the secret is to learn to only hit nice easy shots off the tee. Keep EVERYTHING in the fairway as if your life depended on it. Then know how to pitch chip and above all, putt the eyes out of it. Even a lousy duffer, such as myself, can putt em like the pros. Drive for show, but putt for the dough! Aye,tronic?

Not only do I play, but I'm a superintendent. If I'm out by myself I love to light one up, play my best that way. You don't worry about all the things that screw up your rhythm. Worse enemy for any golfer is his own mind.... so take it out of the equation.

I'm not saying all pros hit it super long, where does your info come from. Where did you find the info stating driving average is calculated with driver only. According to their website the stat is calculated picking two holes per weekend facing opposite directions, no club was specified.
There has been over 500 drives of 350 yds or longer on tour this year. Put the top guys on a driving range on a no wind day, and there's plenty hitting longer than 325. Driving average is mis-leading.
