Great work Thundurkel!!!

I know you're almost completely organic now but could you give your opinion concerning the Schultz Bloom Plus?

It's fine straight outta the bag IMO with FF nutes you'll be fine thats when my shit was right!!! Almost back on track but yea it's fine all by itself but it can never hurt to add some worm castings like 1-2 cups per 3 gal of soil

Twas the CoCo that pulled your pH down. I read something about Superthrive that it's for vegging only not flowering.

I've hear people say that before but I noticed my plants aren't as vigorous without it....

New stuff going on in the world of %MisturBombDiggity% aka Thundurkel ...
I am switching over to 20oz party cups instead of the bottles and I will lose a row out of the deal. But I don't have to deal with transplanting my clones cuz I root them right in the cups from the beginning. Also I'm switching over to straight Coco and Perlite with Flora Nova but will switch to Pure Blend Pro when I run out of FN. The other thing I'm doing is making Hempy Buckets out of the cups as well. Hand watering will also stop cross contamination of containers cuz I wont be dunking them all in the same container of nute mix.... Stay tuned...

You make my head spin with all the stuff you're doing. Keep it up!!!

That's one thing I've noticed with the small SOG, you can run a series of 2 or 3 plants a week and do something different with them.

I'm wondering if your soil mix is a bit heavy and needs more perlite that's causing your lack of vigor. I'm having that problem with my grow right now. I've always used Promix and can't get it right now so I'm using potting soil or straight peat and haven't mixed enough perlite.

FWIW - Our garden area centers just got Promix in last week, and I think we're in the same grow zone (COLD!) - you should check your sources, they might have it now, also.

I would almost gurantee thats what the problem was and is with a few plants but all my new ones are in Patio Plus and I just made 2 Hempy Bucket cups this morning with a Super Silver Haze and then a Maui Wowi Tooty Fruity so I'll be running those through in a week or 2... I can't wait to get a ph kit and a bag of coco!!!! Shit I'll take a brick of coco haha

One of these days I'm gonna try the hempy bucket. Sounds like an easy way to do hydro.

Definately get a pH aquarium test kit. Best $5 you can spend. I did a test today when I watered and can tell that the nutes are building up in the soil. My plants have been fed and need a plain water every now and then.

The garden centers are just getting set up this week in town so I'll get stocked up on some promix for sure.

What I'm guilty of too is a one size fit's all for watering. Heck I'm as lazy as the next guy. If I gotta water them then they all get watered. The little plant that get's overwatered falls further behind on each cycle.

Ok folks so things are looking good in my garden again thank the Ganja Gods!! I also have gone back to using Flora Nova Grow and Bloom until they run out then I will be trying out Pure Blend Pro line up. But the best news of all for me is today I went to the new hydro shop in my area and picked up a bag of Roots Organics Coco Fiber Hydroponic/Soiless Media
it was $15.95 for a 1.5 cubic ft bag. here it is and what they say about it...

Roots Organics Coco Soilless Mix
A unique formulation of the highest quality coco fiber/Coir on the planet which is repeatedly washed for an incredibly low EC, composted for over twenty-four months, and specially blended with extra long fibers, perlite, and pumice. Lightly amended with a starter charge of organic fertilizers like bat guano, worm castings and kelp, this mix is designed for heavy feeding and high performance in container or hydroponic applications. Coco fiber is a great medium and an excellent replacement for peat moss; it is an environmentally friendly by product, pH stable within the ideal range for nutrient uptake, and because the Lignin content is slow to decompose. Roots Organics Coco soilless mix was created for the gardener who demands higher performance from their plants.

I can't wait to see how my Thunder Goo does in this compared to how it did in the Bontanicare Ready Gro Moisture Control cuz this stuff is VERY similar now that I now my shit.. You live and learn though is all I can say, so far I like Roots Organics brand, they get the coco fibers from 3rd world countries as a by product of rug and broom making so it supports their economies and that's a cool thing to me.

I'm getting batteries for my camera today and will update the thread, I also transplanted 2 Thunder Goo clones that just showed roots into 20oz bottles of the Roots Coco Fiber!!!

I thought you had big time problems with the CoCo. What did you figure was the problem?

No it was the Black Gold Waterhold Coco Blend that gave me problems with the Fox Farm nutes and it's most likely cuz I don't have a PH Kit but I will tomorrow!!! Yay for me on the ph kit lol but yea now that I started using the Flora Nova Grow and Bloom that I have my garden is back on track. Also since all my plants from here on out will be grown in Roots Organics Coco Fiber with the FN Grow n Bloom I will see plants like this...

and here is one of the coco ladies above which were the 2 on the left course, but here one is with the lower branches cut off cuz I wanted to smoke and this pic was taken in week 7...:joint: So far Coco and Flora Nova has given me the best results, but when I get the ph kit I am going to do a Fox Farm vs Flora Nova test DrBud style :joint:

I use Flora Nova Grow at 5ml per gal and 1ml of Floralicious Plus a 4 drops of Superthrive for veg and the first 3 weeks of flowering the I use Flora Nova Bloom a 5ml a gal with 1ml of Floralicious Plus and I flush with 1tbs of Molasses per gal for last 2 weeks of flower but it's just water for the last 2-3 waterings... Yea I'm not fucking around anymore I want 2-3oz a week!! I know it's possible especially with coco and Flora Nova, cuz those plants above if I would've left those lower branch buds would've been 14+ grams. That's when I didn't understand growing and what nutrients did ect, now that I have more grows under my belt good and bad I'm ready to push the DrBud style to the next level going with a soiless coco mix. I also replanted my mothers into the Roots Coco Fiber mix since it was time to trim the roots on them and every time they grow back more and more it seems. Can't wait to see how much faster my moms grow for me. I'm just so stoked on the bag of coco lol especially since it was the same price as my bag of Ocean Forest I bought in the beginning of my grow journey haha but yea I'm still trying to get batteries but only had enough for meds. Which I must say are LOVELY! I got some "Ewe Too" from CWC and dude said it's Bubba Kush x Master Kush and by the smell taste and looks I'd say he's right... Still though nothing is fucking with my Thunder Goo, can't wait to see how it does for Its420 cuz I haven't seen it really pushed under HIDs so that will be interesting... I know it's still my frostiest highest yielding strain and it turns purple which is the icing being a high yielding purple. But yea it's got more resin next to my OGKxMendoPurps and SR71 Purple Kush and that's what I will be running this summer I have a new Thunder Goo mom in the making so I will really get to see her shine this summer...

I've also been reading some things about Flora Nova and I hear it's made for tap water and being ph stablized you don't need to ph it when you use the recommended amounts.. Anybody know if this is true? I know I did those girls above with no ph kit and that was 2tsp per gal but I use the lower Lucas Formula I got from Hydro Soil of 5-7ml of FN Grow and 8ml of Bloom but my buddy who uses the Ready Gro Moisture mix uses the FN Bloom at 5-7ml per gal all the way through flowering and has GREAT results so that's what I'm doin this time around. Also when I get my PH Kit I'm going to run a side by side test of Fox Farm nutes vs Flora Nova and possible Advanced Nutrients(not sure what ones)
