Massive Outdoor DK 09 Corn Field Grow

A huge grow like that looks daunting. It makes me feel a little better about my little guerilla plots sprinkled over the countryside, lol.

regarding trimming

i gave up on that idea long ago cause i cant find reliable helpers
ive had some helpers shortly but it didnt work out

so im doing these grows for kief/hash and seeds

if i found reliable helpers for next season i might get a Trimpro or similar machine
they are expensive but scissors is not an option in these amounts
even with helpers

regarding keeping plants green after harvest
last year my leb27's had many immature seeds in them at harvest time
but since the farmers was about to harvest i couldn't leave them in the fields
i pulled them with roots and put them in buckets with water at home
this allowed them to mature for a week or 2 more and it gave me more mature seeds than if i had pulled and dried right at harvest time

dont visit the place much cause the owner is a jerk and he treated me and other fellow danish growers like shit, but theres still some nice genetics around there though

Heres a little update from today
not much have happened but its slowly beginning to look good

the first few to surface in the "commercial" department was some Early Danes

then some leb27 and a few Royal Dane x Erocket/Danish Passion also slowly started popping up

the seeds for the indoor room have had a day in advance
first 2 rows are Endless Sky
then 4 rows with Bifrost bubblegum and the rest are Skunk#1

remember that Nigerian Nightmare female that started showing sex?
im hoping to be able to reveg her
i took 3 clones of her and if just one of them roots and are able to reveg into a new mother ill let my current mother flower in the garden for some nice early smoke

this is a pheno og Arjans Haze#1 that sucked bad
AH#1 promised 22,3% thc but this pheno average at best
had a bad taste and went 16 weeks instead of the promised 11 weeks
so she goes into the garden as ive gotten tired of her filling up space inside
she nothing but mediocre pot anyway so she'll probably feel fine outside instead
i call it pheno 3 as ive got 2 others that ill try out later to see if they are any better
they look somewhat different so they might turn it better
i didnt clone this one before putting out as she wasnt worth it

heres the Nigerian Nightmare that went into flower from one night having been left out in the dark for 2 hours and then the following night she was brought inside under MH a little late also
the rest of the time she has been under 24 hours of light at mh and outside sun
shes really one sensitive lady so i think she sure has some breeding potential as she reminds me of the Nordic strains due to her photo sensitivity
i took 3 clones of her i hope will root

heres the seedlings i planned for my indoor grow room
Endless Sky which was the last to surface has taken a boost and now 9/10 are above ground
Skunk#1 which was the first to surface has gone to a hold
still only 2 out of 30 are above ground
Bifrost bubblegum from sagaseeds are doing a little better
but i would like to state that this method of germination are far from optimal
they have had some very cold and also very warm times
but i had no way of germination that amount indoor atm

Deep Chunk
the small mother plants from inside had some rough times before but they are really enjoying them selfs now outside in daylight
they go out at about 10 am then back inside under metal halide again at 8 pm
practically all the plants are shooting now

Black Domina with some fresh tops that have appeared within the last few days

small C99 mother

Nepalese Jam from Ace seeds
this one is 2 generation which is nepalese highland x jamaican
then back crossed to a nepalese highland again
nice potent, high yielding pure sativa that finishes in 9-10 weeks
she definitely got some breeding potential

in the bigger commercial department things are starting to look good also
heres Early Dane, purple peace and leb27
notice that in some of the seed trays theres 2 plants
this is due to i also used some second grade seeds that has been put a side while i did first grade picking
if i met some seeds i want sure would pop i added 2
seems like most the second grade seeds are also viable

since im doing a combi in and outdoor grow ill include this also ( ill explain more detailed later)
just had the ballast shipped from a good ebay deal
60£ plus 7 for shipping for an Eurobright euro techone 400 watt ballast
i hope its good
had to order some cables so i couldnt test it today

starting to look REALLY good now!

only ones that havent surfaced yet are Thyphoons
i did a preliminary germ test some time ago for strains to seedbay and other vendors and they where all above 90% but i didnt test the Thyphoons
ill give them a few days to see if they are just slow starters'



still a lot of skunk#1's that havent surfaced yet
still 9/10 of the Endless sky

the Nigerian Nightmare that had started flowering is still doing good
one of my dogs have been digging in the pot
dunno why cause i dont feed them organic atm but some Canna tera vega but maybe its because i added some Sensi Zymes from Advanced Nutrients
dunno whether it contains organic part but it probably does since the dogs are interested in the pot

im sad to hear that

here they dont bother
although ive heard that in some southern parts of the country where guerrilla growing is really widespread they do some heli watch, but still nothing really fancy and even in that area if you scatter your fields into many smaller ones your sure to harvest the majority of it

i only lost one field in corn last year and that was to a farmer that harvested 2 weeks earlier than all the rest for some reason

this want a big loss althoug hes probably now sitting there smoking from 20 Erocket x Danish Passion that was going to be big greazy plants i looked forward to be harvesting

well, dont cry over spilled milk is an old danish saying
but it convinced me to be growing between rows as much as possible this year
this way i dont irritate them too much by lost crops and large empty spots
although i have a few strains that are very early and dont grow too tall and which i might have to help by removing a few surrounding corn to aid in better sun light exposure
but majority of the plants will be between rows and since i add extra fertilizer the corn will also benefit from that in those being close to the canna

its all about looking forward from each grow

dont piss of the farmers so you cant grow there next year without having them looking for your crops

I agree 100% dont cry over spilled milk.. funny didnt know it was a danish saying but now i know why grandma always said it lol.. its all about looking foward to each grow.. the world keeps turning and always will no matter how much you think or bitch about the past.. regarding gps
isnt necessary but you have to keep track of them
i have planned 8 different fields this year
some with several strains in them with one selected to pollinate the others
there ill keep earliest and healthiest looking fathers of the main strain
for pure seeds and also a cross
when finding a good field i found a point which i enter the field in an 90 degree angle
could be s tree, roadsign etc
then i count the rows in and move in at and angle
then ill always be able to find the plants
jsu dont do the error i made last year of not inspecting the spot in daylight also
last year i had one spot that turned out later was very close to a farm where there was dogs and also a donkey and sometimes when i came there at night to inspect my crop i had dog barking and the donkey also making sounds
kinda scary to think the could wake up the farmer and i could have a dog and a farmer with a shot gun chasing me around in a huge corn field
might be fun to some and exiting but riding home sitting in a car seat with the ass full of lead pellets isnt my way of having a great time
so be sure to inspect the spot in daylight also

also remember to take into account that when doing transplant plants out in midlle of june corn isnt very tall yet so be prepared to go belly down when cars are passing and dont do your grow close to a turn on the road as the headlights of passing cars might find your way and you could find yourself having pitch black working conditions and then the next moment being illuminated like an xmas tree
take the passing cars into account and choose a spot where you can see them from a distance so your prepared to hide when they are passing

this only goes to start of season as later the corn is tall and a perfect hidden once you have entered the field
