hi guys,

hoping to get some help. i have some clones that i put into a bubble cloner. unfortunately, i didn't have rooting gel at the time and just put them in with a drop of superthrive. they're on their sixth day now and no roots. water is at 75-i know, not ideal but i can't change that. one or two are drooping a lot but the rest look fine. i picked up some rooting compound yest, should i add some into the water? thanks!

two weeks...

rooting gel doesn't matter in a bubbler. you don't need the superthrive either, just tap water. 75 degree water is ok, maybe drop it a few degrees. these things take time and you need to be patient. keep the air stone and a cfl running 24/7 and the water temp constant and you'll have roots in 2 weeks... In the meantime read more!

thx one love. first time i haven't used rooting gel. wasn't sure if it would matter. i usually have some roots by now. i'm so impatient! :)

bdomina, you can give them low nutes once they have roots.

minimum 2 weeks...Why people think the process is any faster using a bubble cloner...dont know.Sometimes...

sometimes you can get roots faster then two weeks, but it's rare. I generally target 2-3 weeks for babies.

I started taking clones about a month and a half ago and rarely do I see roots before 2 weeks. Karma, One Love

I've never had them take more than 2 weeks in a simple/crappy bubbler. Not to say that it won't take longer for you, but i always have roots by 2 weeks... Yes the airstone helps. Don't make this confusing for the guy FFS.

When i use rooting gel it usually goes alittle faster than without, but around 2 weeks here too. However i experienced taking clones from a plant 3 weeks into flowering that rooting only took 3 days, using rooting gel, however i had to reveg it too so it all took around 2 weeks anyway. But its an idea if you have on of those hard to clone strains.

I use vita grow rooting compound and its been 9 days and i can see root points poking out they are in 1" RW cube soaked in a light strength nute solution in a humidity dome on a heating pad and im about 99.9% success rate

a lot of times it depends on the strain,I've seen roots in as few as 1 week to a week and a half

Original question; 1 week to 2 weeks
Ok... maybe I'm just rambling... but I have seen a lot of people telling people they can take clones in flower... ok ya you can...

but its dumb as fuck!

the ONLY time I would ever do it again is if i was dead set on keeping those genetics. The time it takes to root a flowering clone, you could have already ordered more seeds, HONESTLY. A plant 3-4 weeks into flowering will take no less than 3 weeks to root, and the boutique takes about 1 week to get to u.

I am not kidding, I used rooting gel, rock wool rubes, 100% success rate, took no less than 3 weeks IF NOT LONGER actually i think 1 month, lost track. 24/7 fluorescent light. I started some seeds about 3-4 weeks after and they outgrew the clones. YES, none died, but it took a fucking month, not worth it. You could have a 2 foot plant in that time. Male/female? who cares cause now you have a bunch of seeds instead of your small number of shitty flowering clones.

Now, if you had enough plants to take plenty of clones why didn't you just top and clone before flowering? The 12/12 from seed threads says it takes rough 79 days for a plant to go from seed to finish in a hybrid plant, which would be 11 less than a indica dominant flowering clone. (90) probably will be larger too.

Please someone prove me wrong. because i have been seeing a ton of people saying "wrong, you can clone in flower!" well ya I can fart methane into a pipe and power my car, but I don't I buy cheaper more affordable gas. Which makes me more money, cuz I'm not bullshitting around for a month farthing into my car.

1-2 weeks to see roots, 2 + weeks for roots to emerge from rockwool/puck/rapid rooter.. Sorry should have clarified that!

Taking clones in flower is not recommended as it can alter genetics(although ive never seen this) the only time you should take clones in flower is if its less then 2 weeks or like already mentioned need to save a strain.. SO simple answer yes you can clone in flower, its stupid. dont bother.

Outside of that patience dude!!!

My last cloning took 3 weeks, and I was getting frustrated. I had just built a aero cloner, and thought that was gonna be the diamond of cloning. Its much better than rapid rooters, but not much faster. I found superthrive to be an essential addition.

like they all said 1 to 2 weeks and add nothing to your cloner but just straight water. Make sure to sterilize between cycles or you wont get roots.

it is also totally strain dependent some even take as long as three weeks, oh make sure your using low light levels cause that will definitely prohibit the cloning process.

I have roots in 5-7 days in a wick & perlite cloner. Same plants took 2 weeks with a bubble cloner. Tried peat pucks, they took 2-3 weeks before roots broke through.
