wow what a backwards turn of events...both the favourites the Rangers and the Devils both lost...dam that's why i stopped betting on hockey..so unpredictable...oh well Pengiuns and Canuks in the cup is my prediction...i will come back in 3 weeks and see if i am correct..lol

What epic choke FAIL by both the Devils and the Rangers. I can't believe the fuckin South Division is the class of the Eastern conference right now. How sad is that. No wonder the NHL can't regain its foothold as the #3 pro sport in the country. Who really gives a shit about hockey in NC and DC?

First, the NHL clearly favored both Carolina and Washington in their respective series. The officiating was terrible throughout the NJ/CAR series and it showed in game 7 tonite with the refs giving CAR three PPs in succession including a 5 on 3 when NJ was taking control. That's probably why Bettman was there. Gotta make sure the refs know who signs their checks. But in the end, another absurd finish by CAR (and soft goal by Marty in the playoffs that Devils fans are all too accustomed to these days). Ive never seen a team that can pull a goal out of thin air like CAR can. Enjoy the rest of the playoffs guys. I stop watching when my team is out. No use supporting a league that purposely favors teams over their opponents.

I hate the Wings-but they by far the class of the league. I think the East is wide open. The caps have the talent to literally sweep their way into the Finals-or they could get knocked out in four. Top two lines can put a game out of reach in 10 minutes, but they lose every freaking battle in their own zone. I could malkin eating that back line up.


I'm rooting for the Caps. They are the funnest team in the league to watch imo.
