as promised here are some "lights off" pics... there wont be too many of these til i get a green bulb, cause i don't want to interrupt the dark cycle. sorry if they're out of focus/too bright, it isn't easy getting photos in a pitch black room.

all these just reached the end of 5 weeks of flowering...

1. revs remedy
2. god bud
3. a few widow tops
4. shot of the room

More improvements coming soon and pics will follow :joint:

Adding another 400w, haven't decided if it'll be for veg or flower yet, so it's not up yet...also finishing off the exhaust and getting some new genetics. All coming in the next few days to a week...

ventilation finished for now...the uhaul boxes say "REUSE THIS BOX" and resuse it i did! works good too, can barely hear anything outside. gonna line it with more eggcarton foam soon to silence it completely.

Well, shit. the clones i got from my buddy must've had mite eggs on them. his shit brought in gnats AND mites and like a dumbass i didn't isolate them first. so it's time for more einstein oil and if necessary a no pest strip. gonna spray now and pick up a no pest strip if i still find living mites on the next spray after tonight...

Here are some new pics...

1. Shot of the room w/lights off. Three generations.
2. God Bud. I just compared it with the last pic i posted of it and it's definitely gotten bigger in the last 8 days...I credit that to the trimming of leaves I did on day 40. This God Bud plant had 7 or 8 tops all the same size... A few were trimmed heavily, a few trimmed a little and the rest not trimmed at all... The biggest ones in this picture are all the ones that were trimmed heavily. The ones not trimmed at all are small now in comparison. 2-3 weeks left.
3. One of the Widow mothers, 2-3 weeks left.
4. shot from above some small plants and part of the God Bud plant...just thought it looked cool. 2-3 weeks left.

Expanding the room to add another light, finishing off ventilation and duct silencing projects, re-arranging the room, gonna move the fan and add another, and making some improvements you'll notice on the next set(s) of pictures.

Also going to be getting rid of a lot of my vegging plants in exchange for some new strains...basically everything but the next generation and the mothers. It helps me lower my numbers while still getting new genetics to work with. :smoke:

Sorry to here about the mites man, I have had major problems with them in the past. You might want to be careful spraying them with anything since they already have buds on them, but you can always do what I did, and order some beneficial mites. They take a minute to work, but if you plan one going perpetual, they are a worth while investment(I think mine were around $25 a bottle) because they will keep on growing until there are no more spider mites left for them to eat(or you spray them with bug killers). Once the problem was fixed, I put a couple of those no pest strips in my cab, and I haven't see a single bug since then.

I'm careful with the spray, no worries. Around the buds I just mist it lightly and put a fan on to dry it quick so the oil residue is still there with little to no moisture.

Gonna get a no pest strip though, I keep reading about how effective they are against many types of bugs including mites..figure I'll just keep one around to get rid of them if they come back. One more einstein spray just to keep them from coming back.

Also, gonna try to finish the expansion today and put up pictures.

Yeah exhaust was silenced, room expanded, light added, new strains added, overall numbers cut down big time... i got pictures but need to get new batteries for my camera, that's why it's taking so long :) I'll have them up later today, for sure.

By the way, anyone who says Einstein oil doesn't work on fungus gnats, obviously hasn't tried it. All I've used is Einstein Oil sprays to keep mites and gnats at bay, and I can't find either one, except dead. I opened the room up today and found gnats stuck to the bottom of leaves, in groups of 5 and 6 on top of leaves, dead all over the place. Einstein Oil works AMAZING for them both.

Picture time! First of all, anyone who needs good carpet protection, pick up a roll of this for about $10 at Lowe's or Home Depot. It's adhesive and 2 layers provides great protection. It can go under reflective material on carpets to catch leaks and prevent mold/damage to floors...

Shots of flower room 2.0 (click thumbnails to enlarge):

1. Shows the room expansion
2. Generations 1 through 4 under 1400w of light
3. More gen1 - gen4
4. More gen1 - gen4 (again)
5. gen1 & gen2 under 1,000w
6. gen3 on the right, gen4 on the left - gonna have them switch places when lights come on again
7. More gen3 and gen4
8. Intake - gonna be adding 1 or 2 more intake ducts when lights turn on.

As you can see it's coming along nicely. Various small improvements will be made today when lights turn on in addition to the ones mentioned above. gen4 includes 7 unknown bagseed, presumably females, and most of them look like sativa.

Here's a few of the veg room. I'm so happy to finally get those seedlings out of there, they took up too much room and I don't even know if they were worth keeping. I'll find out as they bloom, I'm sure. Also cleared out the 8 WW and included them in gen4 for bloom.

What's left is a Rev's Remedy mother, a WW mother, 3 new strains; Blueberry, Alaskan Thunderfuck, and Sugar Baby. There's also a Medicine Man seedling that isn't showing pistils but I'm pretty sure it's female. Also took a clone from all but one of the seedlings in case any are worth saving. They'll root in a week or so and I'll purposely stunt their growth (bonsai) to preserve them for future cloning if needed. There's also the God Bud mother which unfortunately dried out and almost died - it was under the canopy of bigger plants and I lost track of it.. The closet simply got too crowded.

I was told by several people that my veg closet wouldn't keep up with my flowering room's needs. Those people were wrong. 8 CFLs kept up with a 1k flowering room just fine. I may add another bulb or two to keep up with the added light in bloom but we'll see how things go first.

Anyway, here's the pictures.

1. You can see how much space has been freed up
2. New strains: Alaskan Thunderfuck, Blueberry, Sugar Baby
3. Medicine Man mother/father - if it's male, it'll be flowered in a seperate room to collect pollen
4. Rev's mother
5. WW mother
6. God Bud mother, the one that almost died

Thanks for looking. Questions/comments/criticism always welcome!

I hear you wishing that Medicine Man is a medicine woman. Planning on keeping it either way is a solid idea. I really liked the White Rhino from Nirvana and now I'd love to try the real thing. You can make some fun crosses with that pollen and your strains it looks like.

They are fattening up nicely I see, we are in for some fun. Nice work.
