medium pimpin how do you like those cool tubes compared to the vented hoods. do they have the same light span as the hoods. I was looking into getting one but i didnt want to get one if the light span was smaller then the hoods.
i really like the cool tubes better than hoods.
when i ran hoods i had to put tempered glass on the bottoms of them for heat.
the tubes are cool to the touch w/ hooked up to a fan.
light disperses pretty evenly, but i only have a 2' tray

1st pics of the tent, flipped a couple days ago.
i had the same problems w/ the hydroton again this round.
i even soaked em overnight in 5.0ph water, but it shot up around 2 points by the next day.
i couldnt wait as the girls were ready for buckets.
next time i soak em for a week.
ph was high in the rootzone and was getting def's due to it.
i took cupfulls of solution out of the buckets and poured it over the netpots for a few days straight.
seemed to help correct the problem for now, just shit slave work to do it.
i also have my 5 orient express girls from seed in promix there too.
these girls were vegged under 34w of flouro's for like 2 months.
still got nice plants out of the cab for 34w, LOL

I love watching the explosive growth on this plant. You're like....should i veg another week? why the hell not?? And then you end up regretting that when the buds are overgrowing everything! hahahaha

Looking off the hook MP...hitting them with the tiger bloom? that stuff is concentrated like a mofo burned the shit out of mine once even at low dosages...that chem is looking dope man keep up the good work mang peez ub
Listen here Pimpin, who told you to leave the rock soaked?
not doubting the tip but having messed with hydroton for a good bit, leaving it in water of whatever PH won't fix the issue, it never did for ME atleast..
depending where i was i will either put all the rock in a trash can with wheels that was full of holes thanks to me and a happy trigger on the drill
and just wash the fuck out of it with a water hose..
if i didnt like working in the yard in the location i will fill the guest tub with all the rock and let the shower water run on it for a while then once im done washing it out i'll run some ph'd water through it just to rinse the other water n thats it.
the dust from the rocks is what fucks with the PH
