UK Cheese - Mandala Hashberry - Paradise Sensi Star

Man it's nice to wake up knowing that the trimming is done and that the crop is drying... And the best part? The stink is GONE!

This grow gave me my first purple weed :) Quite a bit of purple starting but no full-on color changes. Next round will feature Sensi Star again, we'll see if it goes purple or not this time, the temps are nice and low now.

Transplanted 9 Cheese clones today into 1L pots w coir. They'll be vegging for a week or something before they get 6,5L pots and a few days more veg then it's off to flower.

Clones are doing well as can be and the stars also, they'll get new pots tonight also, 12 lt pots and some more veg time. Transplants get fed cannazym at 1,5 ml/lt to take care of old roots in the reused coco, 0.1 ml/l of canna cal and canna mag to supplement depleted levels in used coco, 1,5 ml/l canna coco a+b, vitalink liquid silica at 4ml/l (as per the directions) to aid against botrytis and powdery mildew and finally whatever root stimulant i'm currently using. I used to add bacteria also but I think that the bottle I have has gone off so I won't be doing that this time. I also spray them regularly with an anti-fungal solution called Vital. It's organic and based on vegetable fats and silica and works very well.

Getting real antsy to start the next round of flowering now haha, ain't long since i chopped the last batch... ADHD anyone?

yep, makes ya wish u could go ta sleep and wake up ready to flower! Them look like some nice purple nugs man, nice work.

Haha funny thing happened today. The crop was dry now so I took it out to put it in jars. I dry it on a rack fitted with some organza to allow air flow...

well, a month or so ago, i bought some screen printing supplies and tried to make some dry sift. it was the correct micron size and everything but i just couldn't get any good resin through it..

so, just by accident i kinda shaked the drying rack over a shiny paper box and noticed that the surface of the box was covered with what looked like resin... i shook the rack some more and plenty more resin fell down.. i collected it and examined it with a loupe and sure enough, trichs trichs trichs...

so, the craftstores' organza which is kind of a screen but very loose worked for producing dry sift but the screen printing stuff which has correct micron size holes (110LPI) does not work...

ah well, after a little shaking, i now have a nice little chunk of very bubbly UK Cheese drysift :D

Allright, today it's budshooting time. No, i'm not gonna kill my buddies or my buds - I'm gonna do macros of the buds and some dry sift. Hope to be able to post something later on tonight.

to use a 110 ten mesh the nugs need to be very very dry - and preferably it all should be done in cold conditions.

when it works well u will get an extremelly nice hash with it :D dont give up mate :D

Notice the ever-present doghair in the dry sift. Dogs bollocks, it is :)

Probably waaay too strong for me though. Yield was about 1.5 gr from about 20 gr of trim

Was it bud or trim?
Was it fresh or dried?
Was it one run or more?
What was the timing?
Was it strong enough as you suspected?

This was from about 10-15 grams of dried and cured A.M.S bud taken 8 weeks. Only one run, 15 secs of shaking with 97% isopropyl and then strain and cook off the iso. Took about two hours total, the strength? It was ridiculous, I gave it all away since it was way too much for me.

the high that I get from my cheese buds is electrifying.

Respect! Im growing some mandala out at the moment but didnt get a chance to veg for long bc i burned the ladies with high nutes. The key to mandala is giving them a low ec of like .5 or .7 for veg and then jumping to a max of 1.2 or so for flowering. Saves me money, i sure as hell am not uppset
