I am about to start a 500w cfl grow tent- with 2 250 w cfl bulbs- 1 at 2700k 1-at 5000k. I believe this would provide the full spectrum for all phases of growth. I'll be growing diesel ryder. Does this sound right to you? thanx
if mixing spectrums i would have a 2:1 of 2700k to 5000k for flowering. how big is your grow area
4sq ft 4ft high tent. I also happen to have 3 65w 2700k bulbs, just by dumb luck. Thanx 4 the reply!

looks good but i think you should do some well alot of trimming on the lower half

Ya, I dont know about that, evrything down low is not as small as it looks, it is all about 2 inches or taller from the stress I have put these tops through!!! Everything has stretched too much for me to just cut off!! If anything, I will Cut the top buds off first and let the bottom ones have all the light when they are getting done!! Why would I want to cut off bowl size buds? Ya, they are definetely thick, I can barely see through the bottoms, but Im thinkin, cluster of small buds for now, (cut of tops)then 2-5 days of the bottom parts on the plant in the light will let the bottoms Fill in just a tiny bit, and I think a little bit is better than none!!!
actual by trimming the bottom the top buds will use the energy an produce bigger buds. but if dont want more bud thats up to you. there are threads on here on properly trimming if you change your mind...KING

If you don't trim that off you'll have a lot of mid-grade popcorn buds. Sure they're bowl sized but they don't smoke anything like the top buds.
If you trim ALL the little stuff past the third or 4th node, you'll put all that popcorn weight up into the upper buds, making them much larger.
You get the same, or more, weight at harvest but it's mainly premium bud with very little low-grade lower stuff.

I wasnt disagreeing, I think It is not going to make as big of a difference as u say, that would be like growing a tomatoe plant and cutting off the bottom of it, do u think it is going to grow Bigger tomatoes? You peeps arent realizing my grow, its short, stout, and its going to fill in, big buds, little buds, popcorns, whatever, it can all be used for extra butter, keef, hash etc.... I dont want just the top Buds on a plant, that would be a waste of time of my part to just Cut Off whats underneath..6 weeks of vegging? Had Some Ph Problems, but they came out of it alright!! I see what u guys are saying, that would be awesome for a Big Grow, in my opinion.....I am going to cut off a few things, maybe 2 on each plant, the VERY light green underneaths that dont have any visible pistils, there isnt much there that doenst have a big cluster of hairs on it, and that hasnt stretched a mile to the sky... Im not disagreeing with u fellas.....I Personally just dont want to pretty much "Lollipop" my plants in any way....The way they have grown being LST'd, Topped, and Fimmed, theres no easy way to Chop the underneath...

It will be the same in the end. Just my way!! Just look at these pics!!! I dont see much to cut off!!!! It will be like having two plants in every one, just add 5 more days for the last bottom stuff in the end!! If its needed!!

I forgot to say bro, This is not my First time growing, I have also done 14 plants outdoor with my brother!!!! Why do think I was laughing, this is my fourth time growing, ha ha ha!!!
i see a good amount to trim in the first 2 pics but thats me an im going on my 5th year of growing

Hey CFL club! I'm a newbie and got my veg cab temp setup going with all cfl.
Been talking with the 150hps group mostly. (which I'll be using for my flower cab)
2 are on Day 10 and 1 is on Day 9.
They were all under (2) 26w 6500k and I just put 1 more 13w 6500k bulb in tonight.
I tried switching to my 150w cfl yesterday but my cab got way too hot.
