It's just a joke. A tongue-in-cheek one at that.

I remember when I first signed up to a marijuana board I seen a lot of people with the disclaimer and considered putting it myself, since I thought people were doing it for legal protection. You could say I'm a moron.

What I see is ... foolish people posting in a foolish thread about a foolish subject ... Classic ... I thought this was supposed to be a Mensa Meeting ... This thread is great. Every time I see one of those signatures, I just shake my head. Yeah - I think that those signatures are, but the reality is, we're just a bunch of stoners. We're a weird bunch! I'd be willing to bet that half the people in these forums don't grow, and the ones that do grow are either newbies like myself, people that grow for personal use only, or those that grow commercially.

The signatures that read, "Everything is fake/I am not real/figment of your imagination/all images pulled from the internet/ or whatever the fuck..." are people just being paranoid or superstitious, like a rabbit's foot or biting the head off the herring at the beginning of crabbing season. The ones that do believe a signature here actually has some sort of legal protection? Hmm...they're just stupid, I guess.

So, that's my take on it. As I said, I am a newbie grower and very new to IC, but this thread made me think about something...is your signature a reflection of your personality? Some of the people on here that go friggin gonzo on their posts and especially in their replies to other people usually have a signature that's like 10x the size of their post...Maybe a large signature is like a big truck or a sports car...it compensates for the small size of that person's...

Any encrypted proxy is about as secure as you can get, but proxies are slow and I never have seen or really looked for an encrypted proxy that is free. I suppose you can make one, have it go to Iran or something and access someones port.
