Greetings, just wanted to show yall my first led micro-grow. I think I've proven to myself that these lights do indeed work. With 7 just rooted clones, 4 blueberry- in the rockwool, 3 durban poison- in the bucket, I ende up with 3 oz. Not great, but not terrible either.

No problem, the reason I did this was to show anyone willing to look, that, succeed or fail, this is what leds do. Heres a couple more pics of the grow-room/tent that was used in this experiment. BTW-I'd trade every piece of equiptment I have to be able to grow outdoors-the sun, how it mocks me

How ya doin? The set-up breaks down like this; 1)ufo-you need to be certain that it's made with CREE- 1 watt diodes-660nm red, you need those deep reds for flowering. 2) side lighting- check out my pics of my 100% led grow room. You'll see flat panels on three sides of the box, they look like lite-brites, you'll hear people talk trash on those panels but they are invaluable for side lighting purposes. Around the ufo is a bulb fixture holding 7 5w 660nm red bulbs, and one 15 watt multi-spectrum bulb- with 1w diodes. This fixture enabled me to hang the bulbs around the ufo thereby increasing te total footprint of the ufo fixture. 3) white led bulbs-this,I think, is the money-maker.About 15% of the total wattage, in my experience is the ticket. Prices vary, as does quality. But I got2 ufos on e-bay for 400US. And they work fine.Check out China Factory online, you could probably get one for about the same or less. The panels are 45 watters 225 ct- check e-bay auctions also. And come check out the LED LAB 2009 in the micro grow section in the forums. It's alot to digest, but theres a ton of info out there. Google Ledgrow.eu-check itout you'll be glad you did. And I wish you a successful journey. peace

I appreciate that- I'd like to see it happen, I would def need help with that-it can make your head spin, the possibilities. There is a wealth of knowledgable folk around here. I think collectively it could be done. Dang, another project in the works. peace

nobody seems to mention the final product...potency...type of stone...buds look good but how is the smoke? any personal experience? thanks for 2 solid links bf74, very much appreciated. One of the guys mentions the buds are very solid which sounded promising BUT I've seen some beaster junk that had solid buds and the smoke was crap... PS thanks for the detailed description after my request. Exactly what I was curious for.
