well i might as well join the worthless comment club or i could ask what no one else seems to put into words and that is when we going to see the actual grow? us men are driven by visuals. everybody is drooling over the construction part now they wanna see this thing rip off 4 second run like john force down the 1/4 mile.
well anyways keep doing your thing and stay safe.

I'll update whenever I do something new growroom-wise. Plants-wise I'll be doing a grow diary.
:yeahthats

Peat - I may actually throw the plumbing in there today. It's Easter and everyone is out of my hair so I have a lot of time to play. My medium is either promixBX or the B'cuzz sphagnum peat, with extra perlite thrown in and fine dolomite lime to balance the acidic peat. I put that in 3 gallon grow bags.

Very good, Lap! Thanks for the info.

I'm in a mix very close to yours ("LC Mix" from the "Beginer Organics" thread).

I'm looking to set up drippers / some kind of auto-water.
But figured that means a switch to coco, or some other kind of hydro.

I attempted drippers with my LC Mix, way back. But, didn't get very even saturation...
It seemed that, by the time I felt they were ready for water,
the soil was hydrophobic...:yoinks:
The water would mostly just run over, and around, the soil...not really absorbing too much...

That's been a while ago...:gaga:
Maybe you can show me something I missed!

How dry do you let your soil get between waterings? :chin:
Do you use the "lift method" to tell when they are ready to water?

Thanks, again! :ying:

There are often a lot of small time people on pot forums, who get an ego boost from being in the community. Then there are people who take this shit very seriously, more than knowledge, more than money even, as a way of life.

I believe you to be the later, and I for one appreciate the input.

Lapides You sir have done a great job!! It's been awhile since I jumped in here, but I've been eating my popcorn:lurk:, watching, medicating:smoke: and seeing your new rooms POP UP! Fantastic job!!! :yoinks::joint:

Love seeing all the ladies in there. How are they enjoying the environment? It's really cool for me to be watching a similar grow project.

I've been busting ballz to get mine going.. Got fans, lights, and all the poly and exhaust stuff yesterday. But that was a huge landmark for me. I don't get paid fast enough.. hahaha :) I went with these magnum xxxl 6" hoods. woa, they are sexy!

See, some persons just don't know how much work, and dedication, and time is put into a project like this. I've put out almost $4k, and im still going. By next weekend, the girls should be here. So good news there! Shit im just rambling off here, stoned as fuck :)

Thanks again for showing off your grow, peace and happy growing! :smoweed:

Lapides, great looking room! I'm not very knowledgable about air circulation. Can you explain what's going on in your rooms in terms of in/out flow? It looks like you have 3 rows of lights, each with their own passive intake and a fan on the other side. So the air moving over the lights is sealed from the rest of the room? Are all the wall joints caulked and sealed? Do you have another intake somewhere else? Where is the air brought into the room by the A/C unit being exhausted?

Sorry for the question overload, just trying to understand the fundamentals of how this should work. Thanks for the great thread!

looks fuckin sick Lap...man where have i been.. can't believe i missed this killer set up...

tried to go every post etc...but i love to take short cuts...

but from i read this sounds like many questions are already answered...

I would suppose every other question could be like DIY tutorial.. or how much the total set up cost you...or something that might jeopardize your security.. but imo you've done enough except for showing us the lovely ladies and pot porn!

but yeah definitely fuck the trolls and do your thing...looks great... i can't wait to see a full room of green...!!!!

its because of this reason i want to pick a up a trade in construction like electrician even though you may only need to know the basics because these community now-a-days have soo much knowledge...
