no, i haven't picked up any cuts since i got this one a WHILE back. i got it as a big-ass mother that i cloned out twice since then as I was waiting to get the new hydrohut setup completed. other strains in the tent are 4 mothers: Cherry Pie A, Cherry Pie B, "Jesse", and the HKS mother from Horizon.
I'm just about due for some new strains for the next round....blueberry sounds mighty tasty trybud...
the Cherry Pie is something i got as seeds from a friend who got them in humboldt. said the bud was called cherry pie, so i kept the name. reason for A and B is because I originally had 3 phenos one of which i tossed and the other two were both dankity dank. I've never really smoked any weed like this "Cherry Pie" before and neither has anyone I know. Has one of the most unique smells i've ever smelled. Doesn't smell like cherry pie, but definitely fruity/fuely. The best part of the smell is coming back into the area it was smoked in 10 min later. Always turns purple on me and always has great bag appeal. Dense nugs. I've got a buddy who thinks it has the worst smell he's ever smelled, says it smells like pesticide. i dunno about that, but it sure f's me up...
anyways, I got too stoned one day and mixed up the two when i was repotting, before i could decide which of the two i liked better, so i'm re-investigating this round. only problem is i had surgery a few weeks ago and couldn't tend to the garden for a few days and lost the cherry pie B cut that I had in the veg cab. oh well, I think A was the better of the 2 - unless i reveg the B.
i've been sitting on the strain for a while now and have been trying to figure it out before passing it along. but if anyone is interested in it, be my guest.
