hehehe that sounds familiar

i was ahead of that problem this time, i put a huge ass ak48 in with my 8-10 weeker strains. lemme tell u that was a strike of genius (something that doesnt come along too often im afraid). that ak48 saved my ass bigtime, i almost ran out but im happily smokin it right now, cutting down the rest tmoz or the day after i spose

I gave 'em a straight shot of water tonight, cause I saw some slightly burnt tips.

But, then again, the bottoms are a little yellow, sooo.... :drum:

I figure the water can't hurt...and they were thirsty...

The "barrel" was the toughest part.

On another note, ...

I’ve been researching the possibilities of coco ebb & flow.
I’m at the point now where I could use some input.

Currently, the plan is to set up a small DIY E&F table beside my soil flowering plants (taking up half of the total space)
When I get good good enough, I’ll convert the other half to E&F Coco, and get a perpetual thing going...

DIY a (4' L x 2' W x 6" tall sides) table &
cover it with a pond liner.

Res (20 gal Rubbermaid)

Pump (200 GPH)
I believe it was Dongle who told me to “Fill the table to 3 ½" (up the side of the 6" pots?) within 20 min...” “...note how long it takes, & figure a 15 min cycle, such as: 4 min to fill, 11 min flooding, 5 min to drain...”

I’m going to need an EC meter. I’m leaning to Blue Lab’s Truncheon...

I hear that I want to shoot for a pH of 5.5 - 6.0, with 5.8 being ideal???
I've got no experience with res mgt... or ph adjustment...

(mix ferts, then test ph?) (Start with 5.5 & let it drift up to 6.0?) (Then change res? More ph down?) ??

Although, I completely trust my pH papers, I figure I can back them up with the drops and get some pH Down (& Up) with the Gen Hydro pH Control Kit???

My local shop carries House & Garden Aqua Flakes - one liter of both A & B @ for $ 40

My local shop only carries Empire Organics coco.
Coir or Chunks - 4 cu ft for $ 40
I figure I’m going with the coir.

I've used the EO coco-peat and would highly recommend it. If you know you'll be flooding, you might have better luck with the chunks, but I'm sure the coir will do you good, and if for some reason you ever need to hand-water, the smaller particles will keep you from having to water so much. Yeah, it's good stuff.

Hi Been,

For some reason, my place doesn't stock the coco peat.

I figure the same as you about the chunks being good for E&F.

And the coir seems to be a good "in between" ???

Currently, I plan on handwatering while they're vegging...under flos...for just a few days, or so...
