kindHypnos, yes variegation does occur on the flo club cut. i had some variegation as mine came into veg after rooting. it has gone away though. Alot of what is deemed mutation in Dj's work is not true mutation, some of it is stress related whether its too much nutes, mites or what have ya. even some of my fully mutated plants have reverted to normal growth after a couple months from seed.
RM

Really? I havent seen it. I guess I wont freak out if it happens to me in the future. :)

Thanks for the input guys....

Thanks for the input guys....

I havent on mine bro. But I have heard of things like that happening to Mendo purps I think. Any chance of confusion maybe?? Mine have the trademark leaves of a DJ plant, but no varegation.

No, no chance of confusion... I'll see if I can't find my camera and get some snaps for ya.

Thanks for the heads up RM, it has definitely been through hell and back... so being stress related is more than plausible.

Ya mon. I dont doubt it all. I have seen some strange varegation in other cuts from DJs line but not this particular cut.

I wouldnt worry though. Should be some sweet goodness anyway. My mutant F13 was the potent plant in my lineup. But the buds were wispy.

hahahahaha swampdank, i just straight rolled laughing for five minutes.
thanks that was awesome. so awesome i ran out of time to find your soil mix, actually. i also think soil nug tastes better than hydro (though it is out there... my homeboy definitely grows it dank - og kush, juliet, buddha blue cheese. all tasted very nice and were hydro) anyway, i ramble. what is your preferred mix, if i may?

Khaleel: Well, I pretty much start with a bale (3.8 cuft) of Sunshine Mix #1. Add about 15-20% perlite. Add one of those 30 lb bags of EWC. Then I just kinda dump in whatever ammendments I have lying around ATM. This time (the best so far) I used a cup of Foxfarm Bat guano, A cup of Sunleaves Jamaican Guano, A cup of Indonesian Guano, A cup of greensand, and because I had it, I added a coupla handfuls of Foxfarm fruit and flower mix. Oh, and dont forget to add about 3 cups of Dolemite lime to this mix. Also, a cup of both blood and bone meal.

I brew teas using EWC and molasses. I also add some Foxfarm big bloom in ealry blom then switch to Earth juice bloom after the stretch. EJ Bloom has no N.

I have just also started adding Myco to the hole when I transplant. IDK if this does anything, but the stuff was $12 and I thought what the hell.

The reason I like this mix is that it is versatile enough to grow many different strainsd, but still inert enough to make feeding adjustments for each strain.

That pretty much sums it up bud.

Oh, swing back through in a few so ya'll can see this wild ass genius plant and what a PITA she is.....

will do swamp, thanks for the info. i'm running a mix pretty close to yours, actually. well not as complex. but i've been adding a good deal of coco to the soil mix, more in veg, less in bloom (more soil for nutes of course, bigger root mass = less need for drainage, etc.). i'd never messed with the coco until recently, but man the bitches love it. :smoke:

can't wait to see things poppin in here :canabis:

Shit man. I forgot. I use coco too. At a rate of 70/30 soil/coco.

UBER: Its a cross from XyZ's stock. The lineage is as follows... SourD IBL x Tom Hills Pine Tar Kush. You can smell that pine tar from afar. (poet and didnt know it)

I ran a bunch of his Sweet Kush and Sour Kush last summer. They pretty much were identical in smell and taste. The Sweet was taller than the Sour. I found the best phenotype out of the whole lot and re-vegged her. She came right back. Now I think she is one of my top 5 strains in my garden. No shit. Others that I have given that cut to are really jumping and clapping about it. Hell it even started a sour kush craze in my town. Once the Sour Kush hit the streets, folks were even trying to pass off other ganja as SK cuz it was so good. Talk about flattery. But, nobody has the SK in this town but me. Muahahaha! She is a really nice and high yielding plant. I almost shit canned her but after seeing how she is growing,I am going to re-veg her and give everybody "one more chance" to get her before it is too late.

Whattup GP? Good to see ya bud.

UBER....

Guys, I really like the SK I just got a phone call from a close friend who is also blooming one and she recommends I keep her around as well. I think XyZ did a great job with these and I would pick up another pack of them if...

A. I could afford it and

B. If I could find it.

If you happen across some on the bay, grab some. They really are worth it. You will find a nice plant in there that stinks like hell and keeps a really unique, Tang smell. Late bloom gives you the "hmaburger meat cooking" smell. You know, when you start browning hamburger? Yep, she smell sort of like that. To me anyway.

Either way, she is dank and it looks like she is going to pump out some serious colas this time.
