some great pics there can you remember the yield and pot size... I have got my skunk#1 aka THE PURE in 50ltr tubs and it looks like they are going to yield huge.... anything over 6 oz a plant is huge to me :D

the rks, skunk#1, is being sold as a fem seed elsewhere, not to be mentioned on this site. it is supposed to be select 1980s sk1 genes. i have 100% germ w all 6 now headed to flower. there have been no grow reports as of yet. im also running seedsman sk1 regs along w rks, 5/10 popped. these should be sams sweet skunk.

OMG hidingtree... your Skunk #1 is a perfect example of what I'm looking for. Those nice fat buds with an abundance of red/orange hairs. Simply beautiful... great job!

I really appreciate everyone's suggestions and advice. I'm now confident that Sensi Seeds has the real Skunk #1. Big Buddah's Cheese crosses also sound like they'd have that delicious Sweet Skunk taste, I'll definitely have to look into those.

Peace,
:rasta:

P.S. I love the Massachusetts Super Skunk. I've not had the pleasure of growing her, but have smoked her on many occasions. While it's a great and amazing strain, it's still not the Skunk #1 I'm looking for, not that I would mind growing and smoking her, lol.

tended the Big Buddah Cheese last season and nice, but not SK#1 .......the Cheese cut or Skunk #2 cut floating around would get ya started in the direction....as tended the Cheese cut last season (outdoors only) and it rang an old bell in respect to the high.....start off with nice sat rush and then a 2x4 to the head......and it's yield was great ...and if memory serves it was Sensi stock of years ago.....?
I hear ya on attaining a stable seed source of late '70's SK#1 seed....in my mind the greatest variety that has given more to the ganja world than any other......by far............maybe Sam will suprise many with it one day.....and it doesn't have to be the roadkill pheno Sam.......

ganj on............................

I know this is offtopic and sorry OP, but whoever said DP's Euforia is a waste of time/money(or whatever they said =P), ITS NOT!! I just got done with my first run of her and I found a beautiful pheno that REAKS of fresh fruits/skunk/roadkill and yields a TON! I dunno any of the background on her(what she was made from and whatnot) but I do know that the beans were DEF. worth the money!!!!

Again...sorry OP for butting in here

HB, I ran G/Sk from MrN, and though it has g13 in it, it grew just like a sativa, and the buds looked exactly like 'sk' buds I've seen here. The high was mostly sativa, and kick ass strong. The lineage is g13 x sk#1 (Nev did in the early/mid 90's) then selected for 'G' traits, and those crossed to sk#1 (Shanti(+Nev?)in the early/mid 2000's). I can see very similar traits in those and my pakalolo (haw sat x sk1) with regards to high and bud structure. I ran (and am running again now, and am making seeds with, lol) the Shit, and it seems much more afghan dominant. Tight, chunky nugs that smell of stink, not sweet. Shit is (af dom)Sk#1 x Sk#1, maybe the parents are reversed.

Nirvana owns the sativa seedbank, has anyone grown a strictly 'Sk' from them?

I'm running some G/Sk f2's now, and I'll be VERY happy with plants similar to the f1's - sweet, sativa dom, branchy/yieldy.

I did look at the G-13 Skunk, but I would definitely have to smoke it before growing it.

I've smoked Mr. Nice (G-13xHash Plant) and while the buds were so fat and smelled like pure road kill skunk, there was no high at all to be found. Not even a traditional indica stone. It just made me feel like I needed to take a nap. Not my cup of tea. Also, I didn't experience any strong flavor. It was kind of dull, a little hashy, but not what I was expecting, based on the smell...

That's why I'm leary about G-13 crosses...

As mentioned, The Cheese is skunk #1. Homegrown Fantaseeds just won second place as the top seed company for this strain @ the Cannabis Cup. I have been growing it and I love it. Incredible smell and taste. Makes dynamite crosses. Just FYI.....

Thanks for the info! Makes me wanna try it out even more.

You say you found a pheno like that... what were the others like?

I think Euforia's lineage is just Skunk (Afghani/Mexican/Colombian).

Hey Love and others

Sorry again HB for butting in your thread, let me know if it bothers ya at all and I'll stop =P! As for the Euforia, I only popped I think 2 or 3 seeds out of the pack because I had so many other strains running at the time, and I only got 1 female but, like I said before it's BEAUTIFUL!! Finishes in about 60-65 days and yields a TON!!!!! The main reason I even grabbed a pack of the DP Euforia was because my best friend was running it for years while I was taking a break from my beloved hobby and his Euforia was amazing too! He had a complete different pheno than mine...I don't know how long it finished in but his too had an AMAZING smell/taste and yielded a ton too! My pheno I have is a short stocky plant with TONS of seperate shoots(branches, bud sites, whatever it is called hehe =P) and his was a very tall pheno that stretched a ton. My pheno actually probably only had 25% stretch maybe a tad more at that, which is what I love about her(among other things). For the price of a 10 pack it is WELL WELL WELL worth it and I suggest anybody who has had any interest before in trying this wonderful and imo underrated strain, make sure you do so because I'm sure you will find atleast 1 amazing mom in a pack!

Again HB sorry for kinda hijacking your thread and going off-topic and I hope you find the perfect Sk#1 that your looking for my friend I'm sure you will!

Stay safe, happy growing, and much love always everybody,

Still wondering if anyone has experience with any recent Sensi stock? I've been reading conflicting things regarding them... At first I thought it was just TFD that changed, but now I'm starting to believe that Sensi changed as well...

I really appreciate everyone's input, however, the Cheese varieties, while derived from Skunk #1, is not what I'm looking for. Same with the MSS. I'm not looking for a Skunk smelling strain, just the original sweet pungent Skunk #1.

Horror, I bought Sensi ShivaSkunk from gypsy nirvana about 4-5 weeks ago!

They looked really old in the pack and my suspicions were confirmed....Not a single plant to speak of and there is nothing wrong with my germ technique. Zero from 10 seeds

Not happy with that at all......P.s the freebies are looking like all duds too
