If blue sky is going to crap, what else may i grow outside that is like hindu skunk? I grow up at 3300 ft. The hindu finished 1st week of october and gave me a pound or more per plant. Does anybody know if plants adapt to there enviroment? Meaning a longer flowering strain would finish in time due to the cold. I would hate to change something that has done so well for me the last few seasons. I only get 1 shot and i'm afraid to get some clones that i have never grown out before. Anybody wit some knowledge chim in i would appreciate it greatly.

if hindu skunk works for you why on earth would you let a some internet person try and talk you into doing something different?

there's nothing wrong with the bs hindu skunk, i know a lot of patients that swear by this strain and are happy with it. i may add something else but i would never give up on my bread and butter.

so let me get this right,

there are good genetics already, new ones have been added with more coming in time, the blueberry is just taking longer than anyone expected, so instead of releasing weaker cuts just to please some folks, taking more time to release quality cuts, while offering blueberry seeds to those that can not wait any longer....

if you can not wait until we have blueberry up and running correctly simply pick the seeds up yourself and roll up your sleeves and put in a little bit of work yourself and crack your own beans.

i don't even ask when blueberry will be released anymore, when i see it i will know its ready, and when it is i will post it in this thread.

jeez enough already, can't we all just grow and be happy

Painroad - You can still get you cuts there as that is astaple of their menu. It is one of teir best sellers I would bet so it wont be goin away. It sounds like you got it dialed in too for the outdoors. Respect. Like 420 wrote there are tons of cuts or seeds that would do the same for you so dont feel like you have tolimit yourself. It would take alot of time to get it dialed in like you have with the Hindu tho.

I agree with Karmical in that no one on te net should be influencing your grows and what you decide to grow. I also agree with Bulldog and TR in what they ae saying about Bluesky. I feel they just do not care at this point about their selection of cuts and really have become the Micky D's of clones.

Painroad - I could not agree more with Karmical and Rainman. Stick with what works, and the Hindu does the trick for me every time. I get tired of smoking the same strain over and over, but I always go back to the Hindu. I have said it before: "the Hindu is the best all around plant I have ever grown." You just can't go wrong with the Hindu. If I were you I would try other strains yet keep the majority of your plants Hindu.

My question is why put a plant that is unavailable months after the new catalog came out on the cover of the catalog? (Blueberry) Also, why is the Jack the Ripper pheno wrong in the catalog? The catalog says short plant when the pheno I received was just the opposite. I can tell you that this is because of lack of caring. This typo with the Jack the Ripper was in the last catalog and still not fixed in the new catalog. Why? Another thing you said in your quote is quality cuts take time. Why not just go down to So Cal and get some OG organics or Swerve cuts? They are proven quality cuts, all you would have to do is mother them. I love Blue Sky but with the client base and funding they have this shouldn't even be a topic. They should already have quality cuts that are proven strains. On top of that they should be breeding there own strains of chronic that blow away the competition. Instead you have competition with Purple Heart which I think is the worst most ghetto club I have been to. I love you guys but I just expect more, bottom line.

I agree, I don't know why we don't have some OG Kush around here. If you read high times every month they show a breakdown of different herbs that people buy and report to High Times. Kush is almost always in the top three strains. Why doesn't the bay see this stuff?

again with the catalog, my gawd its not a bible, not for lack of caring, its just literature. i believe that the deep chunk x strawberry cough was done the same way, the pictures were around months before the first cut made its way through, the only difference is a lot more people seem to really want this blueberry.

No offense Karmical, but the catalog is how people decide what to grow. If I have a grow space with no vertical space and I decided to buy JTR thinking it will be a short plant based on the catalog, who is going to pay me back for the plants I have to throw away because they get way to tall? What about all the lost time involved? To us small time growers this is a very big deal, it could mean the difference of having medicine or being without.

On a possitive note: The Hindu I got from Blue Sky is out performing the Sour Diesel I got from Harborside. It isn't even funny how much faster the Hindu grows, and I am sure that will translate to yield. My last batch of Hindu I got .9 grams per watt. You just can't hate on that. I will try to post some pics, however I am really slow (as in retarded) when it comes to trying to upload things onto a computer. Peace everybody.

I just assume that everybody does a test run no matter how small your garden space is. I would never go all in on something the first try, even of the cut came from whoever you want to insert here as being allmighty..

I test everything first be it one plant or 10, to see if she'll work within my way of doing things.

I've got to have meds so anything new and unproven is treated just as that...
From the I ran this only standard it's unfortunate, but I ran it pulled it way early, I mean I raised my entire garden around 2 or 3 tall ass plants, but pulled a couple weeks way early it was still good medicine.

It was a pain in the ass moving everything around, so believe me, I feel you, but I just do not believe in Jacks' magic beans, I treat everything like it's infected, and test everything first.

Let me ask you sumthin that alot of us want to know.

Is Bluesky selling original Bluebery clones from DJSHORTS own gear or im i wasting my time on a pack of seeds you guys are sprouting and searching out mothers for? I lack respect on most parts of the selections they offer it seems like haste has made them release a few bad phenos and thats all it takes to keep people afraid is to strike fear with bad examples. Im in no hurry to get you bluebery for all we kno it is just another hermi like bubblegum and jtr........Im not rich enough "yet" to pay my power bill so i can grow hermi meds.

sometimes I think you guys are stupid. My JTR didn't herm. My friends that grew it theirs didn't herm. My bubblegum well that didn't herm as well. Well shit all my friends that grew it guess what their's didn't herm either. I'm really glad you all talk shit about blue sky tho maybe there will be less people in line when I go there in the next couple of days to fill my room. Blue sky is consistently the best place to get true genetics that are big and healthy and they have quantity, been this way for years. Look outside your box they are offering a great service to our community be grateful. Or better yet just move on and do your own thing and stop hating in this thread. First things first, big ups to Blue Sky for releasing Casey Jones. It looks and sounds like it should be some super chronic. I think I am more excited about CJ than I am about the Blueberry. Although I am excited about both. Looking forward to the future of Blue Sky.

SRK - I have been growing for 8 years+ now and I never have had a hermaphrodite before in any of my grows before trying JTR. It may be me or it may have been a strain that is prone to Hermaphrodites. I am a carpenter and I built my own room out of studs and sheetrock so I can tell you I have no light leaks. I also have a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) unit so I never loose power. If you can tell me the reason for the hermaphrodites then I would love to hear it. Just because you didn't get any doesn't really mean anything to me. So keep your "stupid" comments to yourself.
I did however grow the bubblegum several times and that never turned hermaphrodite. It is possible that the JTR didn't like cold temps, that could cause hermaphrodites as well and I did grow it during the coldest months of the year. Of course I heat my room and all that but you never know.
As far as the Casey Jones is concerned, I think they are just becoming available but I will let Karmical comment on that one.

That is the only change that needed to be made that I know of. I had heard rumors about the Deep Chunk x Strawberry Cough was really Deep Chunk x Goo but I had only heard rumors. Thanks for looking out LosGanjales, Karmical and Blue Sky.
