I like to push the Grape Ape harder with added Nitrogen along with the PBP Grow and with added Nitrogen by way of Nature's Nectar or Organicare....

really get' them movin a lot faster than normal...

Most purples you can push them harder in veg than other plants, and ifyou just feed them normally like the other strains in your set up they will take much longer but I really recommend that you guy's try to push them harder with extra Nitrogen, or di a side by side comparison... it really works...

Is good advice as in my 9 strain grow I have been feeding the same nutes to all the girls and seen Grape Ape wanting more, constantly. A long veg is needed as well imo.
To bad Blue Sky doesnt have Grape Ape.

Here is sr-71 HS day 44... some love towards BS with hopes of better things to come from them in the very near future

Yeah bro, you're welcome, I have ran many different Purples and they seem to all be able to take good Doses of N in veg, the only one ya wannna be careful with is the Urkle, and what i found is that if I added more Perlite to my Soil for the Urkles and made it lighter.. They were more able to handle bigger doses of N in veg.... Also in bloom seemed they were more hungry for those Bloom foods, heh heh...

You might see some difference in Node distance when using this method, but if you keep ta topping them and bending them to create as many tops as possible you will pretty much keep that from getting out of control.. Not that they will be out of control because of the extra Nitrogen, just that they will have a little more distance between nodes, I really mean a little though...

Good Luck, I would hate to see people stop growing purples b/c of that only reason alone, but there are ways of getting them to yield more and grow faster, they just need to be treated as such..... and grow them accordingly...

Peace and Harmony

just finshed trimming the grape apes...i trim them after there dry..i cant believe the yield 1and 1/2 lbs per light...also i got 1 and 3/4 lbs on my og kush unbelievable i know but true:woohoo::abduct:

Seems like an obvious solution. Plants growing slow so feed them more. i get scared when we start talking about bumping up the bloom though. Good work on two 'low' yielding strains santa cruz...

I posted a couple of days ago saying that I was a little disappointed in the clones I purchased from Blue Sky. I now am thinking of taking that back because in 7 days the clones have shot up and roots are already pouring out of my 3 gal hydro pots. Good old Blue Sky Hindu, best growing plant I may have ever grown. Top 5 at least. Here is to hoping for another good crop, cheers.

dude I know runs the grape ape- EVERYONE loves the the grape ape.

I agree Bulldog- I just finished 6 HS and they do have a good yeild. Damn girls stink in veg- and in flower... every time my girl walked near my cab she said, "smells like a skunk got run over around here" Ive had skunkier skunks but these are the cuts that have had more aroma that any of the other girls Ive run from BS.

That looks amazing Dry Mouth. From the looks of thing you are growing in soil right? Organics really brings out the colors and taste in the Hindu. Much respect, keep doing what your doing.
Also looks like these bad boys might be ready for harvest at day 54. How much longer are you going to let them go?

Great job drymouth! Its nice to be reminded why this strain is so great! I haven't grown her in about a year, and I never had colors like that.
Thanks for sharin.

birdbrain - Rideon' for the comments, and yes we do need to be reminded on how great these strains at Blue sky are! I know peep's been havin' issues with them latley... But when the Hindu dishes out product like this... Shit, all is well in my neck of the woods!

rounders02 - hey thanks, hell yeah... bring her back!

Bulldog11 - what it do... this was all hydro resurculating drip, Pbb/cal-mag 15/5 till the 4th week, then Gh bloom 9ml/gal 5th and 6thweek then flush then clip which is what i'm doing now, 54 days!

caligreen - nice Pk's
