Funny ass thread and many were divided on the answer, I surely think the pitt would kick ass. Many favored the wolf. Take a look at this footage and tell me you still think those wimpy wolves can handle an Eagle, much less a pitbull:

Not to take anything away from the Eagles ... they are beautiful and formidable hunters/killers BUT On the linked video the eagle(s) Appear to be chasing down a Wolf and on the kill scenes it is Obviously a fox or a juvenile of lupine like stature ... not an adult wolf.

Hmm...wonder how I missed the Pitbull vs. Wolf thread....anyhoo.....I don't condone any type of animal fighting that doesn't occur naturally in the wild. With that, it's obvious to see the "fight or flight" mentality of the wolf.

Pitbulls, or Eagles apparently, aren't wired that way, regardless of their recent domestication.

They're the epitomy of never say die, wolves on the other hand are survivalists, they will take flight to live to fight another day.

Those eagles are pretty bad-assed though.....attacking from the high ground is an extreme advantage.
