Thanks.

Do you agree that the stems are purple because of nutrient lockout? It's not in their genes.

Anyway, I have the PPM down to 350 and fresh nutes. Gave them a feeding of Magic Green foliar spray before bedtime last night.

Things should be looking up in the next few days.

Im not sure of anything right now I m having issues everywhere. Some of mine have purple stems some dont never really freaked me out and I still yield really good, not sure really. I think I found my problem tho I need more micro nutes. Im gonna have to do a major flush and that sucks something got goofy in transition, never happened before but now its both systems and they look the same must be lockout. Yours are looking kick ass tho keep em rockin

Man, I really don't like hearing bad news about plants going south. I'm sending good vibes your way. Hopefully they'll pull through for you and lay on the lbs.

Welcome to ICMag (even if you were lurking, you made the jump to register!) and thanks for checking things out.

Enjoy your weekend dudes!

Very, very nice Mashup. I find your organization and use of technology stunning and encouraging. I have been looking around for my next set-up and I believe I have just found the one to model it after.

If purple stems are not part of genetics then it is most likely from a pH lockout. I am currently battling a slight case of that also.

Keep up the great work.

Get up to 75 posts and a lot of new stuff gets unlocked for you, including custom avatars and chat.

Per recommendation of another user of this system I dropped my PPM to 350PPM today. He said I should be having more vigorous growth this way. Maximum of 1500PPM in this system due to the increased dissolved oxygen levels.

I thought it was a gimmick at first because the manual says using as little as 1/3 strength nutes and only changing the res out every 14-28 days. The dissolved oxygen levels keep the nutrients available to the plant for an extended period of time.

But with using a system like this, you would only need to flush the system once a month. How sweet would that be?

I'm only a few paychecks away from that myself. Runs up to 8 parts. That's all of your nutes and PH automated for you. You go in the garden to do "work" only 3 times a cycle.

Peace

EDIT: Looks like they have a newer version of that IntelliDose out now. http://www.amhydro.com/index.php/In...ller/77-IntelliDose-Complete/flypage.tpl.html

nice set up mash,id like to know all about this:yeahthats

Hey gear whore, buy the atomix and run them under 600's so I can decide whether to run tables or spend the scratch on the atomix!

I can't chill out on the NW shit, I love my mary jane.

I know this is way late in this thread an may have already been addressed, however i talked to the nice folks at house and garden and got all their literature they had on the entire line and it says specifically,
"Never use an oxygen pump
in the nutrient container or on
the growth table.
This may have serious consequences
for the stability of
the nutrients (pH- and
EC-values)."
the reason i bring this up is because i saw the big ol' air stone in the tank in some of your early pics.
happy growing!

Me too after seeing what some of these strains look like in full bloom. It's going to be sweet!

Still pondering over a few ideas for my ScrOG, but once that's built it's just waiting to fill it in and we're off to the races.

Thanks!

I am glad you brought that up about the PH because it hadn't crossed my mind to calibrate my meters again. I should be fine though as it has only been a couple of weeks.

If there's anything you need answered about the setup, just let me know, glad to help.

I'll let you know more... after I have it. Reading the information online gives a great insight to all of the features though. If you have access to Urban Gardener, their Issue 002 has a good overview of dosers and their role in laziness. ;)

My garden may have space for one or two of those down the road. I'm loving the system in there now though due to its ease of use. I've got the system flush down to a science and PH adjustment has been very minimal.

I saw that too on all of the literature, after I bought the whole kit. I was wondering to myself, "How the hell can they develop Aqua Flakes for recirculating systems and not have an air pump involved?!"

Luckily I wasn't the guinea pig on that and others using RDWC in the area are having great success on House and Garden.

My guess is that it's something that was misconstrued from the Dutch language. They did have to make several versions of the feeding chart before they got it right.

The PPM and PH have been locked solid according to my meters.

Finally, some dope at a buddy's place, same strains I'm rockin':

I bought mine through Amazon during the holidays and saved big. They still have it discounted enough to make it an essential purchase for every stoner.

Don't expect images like mine though. I've tweaked the cam to my liking and put the cherry on top in Photoshop with some exposure adjustments.

Do a search on the forums for EyeClops or BioniCam and you'll see what other dudes' pics look like.

Save your scratch for something more useful. I've shot macro on 105mm, 90mm and 60mm Nikkor glass at 1:1 and it's nothing close to this. The only glass I've seen come close is the Canon MP E Macro lens, which is what bubbleman uses for his wonderful shots.

So unless you're jumping on board with a Canon SLR and that lens I would say get the toy and dial it in.

My $.02 anyway.
