I like the people there. But non the less multiple friends of mine said they searched thru a hundred clones to find 5 healthy ones. Not giving them a negative rap. Everything is hot or cold. They were cold lately for a couple friends.

K I'll straighten this up. Two friends who are very close, I spend time in there rooms, one went twice the other went once about 2 and 3 weeks ago they were looking for something specific on the menu and weren't able to get what they wanted as far as small healthy clones. They had bigger plants of the strain that one wanted but it was in soil. That is the big difference with the menu at the farmers market and blue sky. I like the farmers market I'll say it again. I'll be there when the outdoor season rolls along. I didn't say hundreds of clones I said a hundred. It probably was unfortunately bad days for my friends when they were looking...shit happens. I don't think we should be discussing the farmers market in this thread tho.

Sorry I didn't see your post when I was typing this last post. Respect to you rainman I'm glad we can see both points. For your post below I have a couple dc x sc going right now that look really waxy, short and stout. But way too slow of a veg and definitely low on the yield side.

Im crossn dcxsc with this yeti(snowcapXgrapeape), this thing gets giant dense colas and yields kilos outdoors...

Then Im also crossn it with an affgooey cut I got thats the best goo Ive found, yields nice and turns purple if you let it go over 8 weeks.
And Im crossn it with a blue dream, which yields fat and pretty quick too.
Im usin colidal silver to force polin out um, then Ill have females seeds of some dope crosses....

well well lol just got back from bs land looking for my favorite H.S. got up at 4.30 am to be in front in line only to wait till 8.30 opening time to have the whole line told theres nada H.S. and only a feww w.w. and rippers 11 to 14 limit lol everybody was happy lol ...seems like for people taveling a long way they could post on icmag what will be the nite before or at least an hour or two...but they are always very nice to all they could be stone face we haven got any goodbye

That is a bummer Santa Cruz420 - I have had the same thing happen to me several times at Blue Sky. It is hard to supply every strain everyday. I don't know why they are still selling the Jack the Rippers, way too inconsistent.

Rainman - Purple Cindy with PK does sound delicious. I have smoke the Cindy99 X DeepChunk and I was not impressed. Most phenos of the DeepChunk crosses come out more like the DeepChunk than the cross. I am not really a DeepChunk fan either.

In my opinion, I would love to see Blue Sky carry some of the classics such as Jack Herrer and Super Silver Haze. The Blueberry is a good start, however I hope a quality pheno was chosen this time. (unlike the JTR) I would also like the see a Kush variety and some Sour Diesel. Just my two cents.

Just wanted to let everyone know about some recent situations I've had and a friend of mine have had in the past month with going to get clones at blue sky.

I got up early and went to blue sky got there around 5 and was #2 in line. Anyhow around 7 or 8 this guy shows up. He's kinda glaring at us and me and the other guy ask him if he's getting clones. He says yeah. Then we tell him he's the 3rd person. At this point he freaks out and starts screaming at the top of his lungs how nobody is gonna tell him what number he is and how he was sleeping in his van around the corner all night so he was first! haha It was fucking nuts. We told him sorry, but you gotta be parked out front. He starts calling people on his cell telling them he needs backup cause some people are trying to take his place in line. Then he's threatening me and this guy almost getting right in my face telling me he should beat my ass. Dude was like 5,6 and 60 years old so I paid him no mind really, but it wasn't the funnest thing to deal with. Anyhow when they open he tries to cut in front and I just told the BS guy that he was trying to cut so they made him wait. Pretty cool of them I must admit. Then he goes into a tirade about how they can't treat him like that and that's how places get burned down. Fucking nut!

Anyhow that was about a month ago. A friend of mine went last week and he was first in line. He said 4 guys showed up around 7-8 and asked him if he was there for clones. He said yeah. They said we are in front of you then. He was alone and didn't want to get into a bad situation cause he said dudes were real threatening and seemed like they meant business. So he let it be. As other people showed up these guys continued to dictate people's places in the line.

I've been going to BS for about 3 years now[I know I know make a mom] and it's always been civilized out front with everyone keeping cool. Lately though it seems like more and more there is a shady element coming around.

I was already getting pretty burnt on Blue sky anyhow, but this really put the nail in the coffin. I won't be going back to BS anymore doing the whole wait in the morning thing. I probably won't go back period cause none of the strains really interest me.

Anyhow good luck with BS guys and be careful I think someone could get hurt out there possibly with how things have been. Not to mention your a sitting duck with a lot of cash when you wait early in the morning there and with shady people coming around that just makes it super sketchy. I'm not saying this is BS's fault I mean they are in Oakland. I just think too many shady type people have come to find out about it so it's not as safe anymore.

I'll check back every once and awhile and see if any good strains are coming around I kinda doubt it though.

SRK - No problem with you at all just venting my frustration with them and their small selection. You make valid points and I can see how they would appeal to you. As I grow no more than 15 plants at a time, I dont rely on any specific shop for cuts, and I keep a mother room. We go there for clearly different reasons that are more clear now. If you want to pump out elite quality meds though please try the Cherry AK or the MVTF! You would hit that mark per watt easily and you and your patients would be much happier with the finished product for sure! Availability if you dont keep a mother room would prolly be a factor tho. Respect!

I would go with the MVTF cuz my Alaskan Thunder Goo was a Matsu Thunder Fuck x Nor Cal Goo and it's my highest yielding strain and it turns purple and has the sweetest berry grape smell to it. I haven't grown straight Thunder Fuck but I'm sure it's similar in frostiness and yield..

Blue Sky is starting to suck from what I see and I don't there and wont based on what I've seen come from there and the selection of phenos is by who knows when they crack beans... I know my Querkle is different from GET MO's not that his is bad by any means I just see that his is more Space Queen leaning from the pics and my cut is more Urkle.... Plus someone I think good ol Rainman said it best about us being up here in the Nor Cal setting with bigger clubs and more experience with growing but yet we get shit for selection in Sacramento or the Bay ... Unless I go to Clearlake or down south cuz they have shit that we all drool over daily!!!!

Exactly the reasons why some communities don't want the clubs around. I've been to quite a few clubs in LA that are run by gangster lookin folks with some really sketchy people hanging around outside.

The last one I went to I thought I was gonna get robbed before I got inside. I stay away from the clubs because of this.

That is just some shady folks trying to intimidate and push folks around. BS is alot of things to me but they have always had good security. You have to in that area. If you went to them and told them it was an ongoing prob I think they could handle it quickly. They dont want to lose our business so they protect us if we need to I believe. Now their selection after having to go through all that is another story!! I dont mind the bums, homeless, and straight gangsters flowing thru if I can get half of what the Socal and Clearlake spots offer. I would go through all that shit for a cut of OGorganic's Cherry AK for sho!!!

I think we should set up a traveling clone raid. A selct few that are comfy with meeting folks get together and hit the hot spots in Clearlake, Bay, and Socal. Then mother these girls out and drop them to needy folks. I have room to mother about 10 plants at a time myself so I would only need a single cut of anything to make clones and pass along. We might even be able to drop them to Rowdy and have her mother a few out for the Market.

Good lookin srk! Rainman you are on to somethin.... too much publicity surrounding these clubs nowadays. Its like bein a sittin duck because people know what your doin huddlin up around the clubs! I hear of weird stories from friends about close encounters. Sheep and wolves! DOnt let laziness pollute your soul mothers are the way to go! Safety first and let the meds flow after!
