dj.scotfree - Hey, glad you found the thread and made it this far. Thanks for the compliments and stay tuned - this room is constantly evolving and I have a couple things in mind that will be enhancing its operation for the next run.





So in all, I believe it was 49 herms that I had to yank. That's about 2 and a half light's worth. No biggie, we'll still do just fine with 6.5 lights. Every plant that remained is very beefy and nice and healthy.

This one is rock-hard and hasn't done very much in the last week, and even less in the past couple days:

I'm taking it down tonight or tomorrow night and giving this a try:

Tona, sup man. I found 2 places in the states that sold them. One of them was here on the east coast, but I heard they did some shady shit like co-operating with LEO a few years back. So I paid $100 more to go with a place I've ordered from before out in Cali. With shipping, it ran me $2900. It was a breeze to put together, like 7, 9 minutes tops. The fan blades seem to be hitting something underneath and it's causing a rather annoying and loud clicking sound. I haven't found out exactly what it is yet, but when I get it to run without hitting, it's not too loud. Like a 10" exhaust fan running.

I started a little thread over in equipment & designs, maybe I'll link it in my sig or something.

I'm hoping to put some buds on it tonight though.

glad to see you still have ur head up. I just sighned up here but have followed ur thread since its infancy. The new trimpro looks mean as hell. i wonder if you can mcguyver one with a shopvac and a flowbee on speed controller? wouldn't be as efficient tho .. that's the one where you just roll the buds ontop of it right? and it sucks the fan leaves downward into a grate/screen ?

Tonatiuh - Yeah man, I actually figured it out. It was TINY, but it sure made it loud. One small section of the grill got bent inward. A small 1/8" section of it was catching the blades as they went around. Straightened her out and she is running smoothly. Let me tell you: $2900 VERY WELL SPENT. I trimmed about a 1/4 lb. worth of those hermie plants in less than 20 minutes, by my self. And it's a damn good job, not just for popcorn.

FoothillsFarmer - Actually, it DOES. Check out the way it churned out this popcorn:

xOOx - What's up F.A.M.? Thanks for stopping by. You hit the nail on the head about weird pains and shit. No lie. Not to mention how bad it sucks if your trimming partner has a tendency to be real lame :wink:

79towncar - Welcome back again. Your answers are no, yes, yes, and yes. The grate itself is about 1/16" thick. Then there's another 1/8" between the underneath of the grate and the spinning blades. So the buds don't even come in contact with the blades, and thus, the trics go pretty much undisturbed. Granted, some trics fall off from bouncing around in the vortex for a minute or two, but I really don't think nearly as many fall off when you're trimming your herb dry by hand. There is a bag underneath that catches (most of) the trim. I cut the fan leaves off before running the buds through, so the trim is suitable for hash and hash oil making.

For a Q a month I don't need any giant apparatus...
Good to know that the equipment works splendidly however. Those popcorny pieces are looking well trimmed for an automatic machine.

yea fiph,i figured would be something small because everything i read on them were good reviews i didnt see any that said it came damaged or anything.
it did a hella job with that popcorn for sure bruh.good that it catches the trim nice and neat for hash makin too fam....im gonna need 1 soon too.maybe next time you use it you pop a few pics off for us?
